He gave us expert advice about the kind of paint that should be used due to weather and the navy blue color we had chosen (another contractor wanted only to use flat paint). Robert did the actual work - power washed the house, sealed around the windows, sealed the cracks in wood siding and then the actual painting. Nate, the owner of B&B Painting quickly came to our rescue when he learned we had just fixed the…read morewater line plumbing leak in both bedrooms. The area had been dried out and was ready for plasterboard and painting and luckily in mid January Nate was able to come right away. He did a masterful job replacing the damaged plasterboard and after all the tape and mud work were done, the transitions from new to old were invisible. He did a smooth wall finish and did not have a texture coating to hid defects. After applying the primer and two top coats, the walls and ceilings looked like new. Hw worked quickly and consistently, coming every day to apply the needed many layers of mud until the surfaces were ready for paint. He used a bright light at a raking angle to locate and correct any defects until the wall and ceiling were very smooth and transitioned with out a blemish into the original areas. The many plumber's access holes in the ceiling made for lots of neck-breaking work; all of which were virtually invisible after B&B finished the work. We plan to use him this Spring on the home exterior and are confident we will get a high quality job at a fair price.
