On weekends in particular there was a succession of customers renting and returning carts. This caused the three dogs that live there to bark. Pros: Nice view of the park and the water. Close to Dock Street where most of the Cedar Key activity takes place, if you like that. Washer and dryer available in townhouse. Spacious vanity in first floor bath. Nice second floor deck. Cons: When we arrived we were told that the plug on the only lamp in the living room was broken and that the agent would bring a plug for my husband to repair it on Wednesday. We arrived on Sat. The part arrived Thursday. The rental business and 3 barking dogs next door. Uncomfortable, too soft leather furniture in living room. Dust covered mantel. The most basic cable lineup available. Drafty windows leaking cold air (we stuffed rags in them to stop some leakage). Kitchen linens consisting of two dish rags, one of which was badly stained and looked like a rag. Two dishtowels, one with a large hole! (Agent did, at our request, purchase new kitchen linens.) Stove hood was covered with dust and grease and walls surrounding were also splattered with food. Coffeemaker was broken. Utensil drawers were dirty with debris ( We washed all utensils before using). Bath towels smelled like they had been used to bathe a dog! Second floor bath faucet handle broken and shower head leaking (Agent called a handy man to repair). Toilets (both) flush sluggishly. Both shower curtain liners moldy. Shower caddy in first floor shower rusted. Master bedroom bed is queen size made up with king size miss-matched sheets and yet blankets were too small (?). Bedspread with multiple stains. Recliner cover stained and worn out. TV located wayyyy across the room too small for viewing. Shelf on which it sat was covered with dust and dust coated the artificial foliage there as well. Laundry closet held a book shelf which was covered with dirt. An old area rug was rolled up and stuffed in the closet obstructing use of the facilities. No cleaning supplies provided in case you would care to clean the place while staying there of a month. Two rolls of toilet paper provided. No bath soap provided. Lots of dust covered chotskies. There is obviously no pride taken in this place. Very disappointing. Have photos of property

Staying in a condo I won in a silent auction for the Cedar Key Historical Society. This complex is…read moreconveniently located close to the waterfront restaurants. The condo is roomy, clean and has all the amenities. They provide shampoo and fluffy towel.

A very nice place to stay if you have a family or more than two people and want something a little…read morenicer. They have one, two and three bedroom condos that are nicely decorated by their owners and include everything you need to cook with. The unit I stayed in had a nice flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. Close to the local playground if you have kids and within walking distance to everything on Dock Street.
