I didn't want to take my clothes off which was fine for my masseuse I started off on my belly and she placed warm towels covering me from my neck down to my toes She placed a heated bean bag on my upper back and started at my hips. The style she had was less kneading no effleurage and more focused on pressure points by pulling and stretching. Her fingers were trembling trying to take the knots out of my upper top shoulders which I found to be funny. She managed to move my bed and try and use her body weight since she was smaller than me to really work my knots which I found to be such a relief. The consistency of the massage was a bit off due to her leaving me for 5 minutes when she started kneeding my arms with her forearms and then stopped abruptly. What kinda scared me was when she grabbed my feet and did a criss cross apple sauce and I thought my knees were gonna pop! Towards the end the noise and conversations picked up to be a bit distracting since there's clearly a sign saying to observe silence. I was given a cup of hot tea and a warm towel along with a tip envelope. Since I was with my dad the front desk assumed I was his wife which made my dad annoyed and had to correct them. Since my mom was looking for me the front desk person did not let us sign in the beginning so when asking if we were there they gave my mom a run around by saying we weren't checked in when I texted her the place we were at. Hope the smell improves, less noise from the employees and better communication with the front desk with less assumptions.

I'm glad they survived lockdown, and it seems that they've made improvements with the decorations, lighting, and upgrades to the facility. What I use to do with my traveling group was spend 5 hours of 5 different treatments which would normally include a facial, body massage, foot massage, body scrub, mani/pedi and services includes a complimentary dinner buffet! You can also customize your treatment package. After much debate, I was initially too embarrassed to go all bare, a bit too exposing around my friends. Just give in. When in Rome. Plus everyone is doing it! The korean spa's full-body scrub exfoliation will also leave your skin glowing and incredibly soft. I will warn you that when you receive a body massage, you will get complete body stretching at the end, only to find yourself thrown completely up in the air using all your masseuses body strength! My only disappointment's and surprised that the water in the "Hot Tub" was filled with lukewarm water. Top that off with showers that also had lukewarm water as well. Although you're in a tropical climate country, it's a bit refreshing. some may appreciate it. But for most, you'd like to be in a jacuzzi instead. The funniest moment was that my other half's work colleague recognized him as we were in the dining hall! Such a small world!. Located in Pasay City just off of Roxas Blvd near World Trade Center. Very close to Makati and other popular hotels. Good place to visit this while visiting Manila.

I enjoyed my first massage so much the first time I went back the day before I left the…read morePhilippines. Naturally I asked for Anne since she did such an outstanding job the first time. I went ahead and asked for the same 2hr massage. One hour for my feet and legs and one hour for my body. Anne started with my feet first just like the last time I was there. While she was massaging my feet we were talking and I found out Anne is married with 3 children and her husband drives for Grab a competitor of Uber in the Philippines. I actually preferred Grab to Uber because they give you a set price so there are no surprises like Uber when they charge peak rates which at much higher during certain hours. I used Grab exclusively while I was in the Philippines, but anyway I digress. While I was talking to Anne she told me the the massage salon she works at gives her 10% of the fee they charge the customer. I'm like SAY WHAT? You make 10% of 550 pesos for doing a 2hr massage (both times she went above and beyond and spent over 2 1/2 hrs on my massage). So basically the salon charges me $550 pesos = $10.50 for a 2hr (2 1/2hr massage) and you make about $1.05 for a kick ass 2 1/2hr massage. She then told me she budgets herself to $100 pesos/day = $1.91/day. Anne is an awesome masseuse she gave me the best massage I've ever had and she gets $1.91 for 2 1/2hrs. That ain't right. I had to reward her for the outstanding job she did. I gave Anne a $500 = peso tip, approx $9.56 for an awesome job. My wife got a 1 hr massage right after me (also w/Anne) for 300 pesos = $5.73. Can you imagine a 1 hr massage for $5.73 in the US. I know Anne did a kick ass job so I gave her another 200 peso tip. As we walked back to my brother in laws house feeling completely relaxed from the excellent job Anne did I also felt good about leaving her with $700 pesos in tips for both my massage and my wife's massage. She made us feel great and I'm sure she was very happy w/the tips I left for her. The Philippines is a very poor country and the cost of living is very low so I'm sure that the tips she received will help her and her family out. Thanks Anne until next time

You'd have to pass through Classica Tower to get to the other side, and that's where the Nuat Thai entrance is. (To make it easier for you, it's just right beside Gino's Brick Oven in Salcedo village. So why not have a massage before dinner??? Haha, the ultimate way to relax and unwind! Massage and good food.) Anyway, Nuat Thai's prices range from 300 for their normal massages, to 550 for the aromatherapy and hot oil massages. This particular branch is a bit more cramped than what I'm used to, but stepping inside, your nose is assaulted with calming aromatics and you don't even notice how small the place is. Before your massage, you're led towards a dimly lit foot massage area where the masseuse washes your feet first. Afterwards, you're led to a narrow room that is curtained off from other massage beds (or more like, massage mattress, cause they're all on the ground). You're also given some clothing to wear, so as not to soil your clothes with massage oil. Nuat Thai's massages left me feeling loose limbed, and ready to sleep, which I feel like is the best indicator of a good massage!
