You could tell by the two colors of paint on the wall. The painter also didn't paint the window ledges and baseboards. I ended up doing it myself. I was wondering why she was so quick in and out. Nobody even came back to check her work, but hands out for the money right away. Next time I will check legitimate references from actual customers, rather than friends and family members of Sean, the owner. I ended up hiring someone else to finish the job. I guess I was gullible. But Sean said all the right things to lure me in. I would recommend not using his services. The man lied through his teeth to get the sale. Unbelievable that he didn't come by to check his employees' work or ask if we were happy with the work. I guess I learned by lesson. Never again.

One of the worst contractors ever hired to work on my property. Brad was one of several estimates…read morewe got to paint our exterior, he was competitively priced (cheapest) and was well reviewed so we went with him. We were told we were just going to slip under the wire for painting season , and would likely be done in late summer. Lo and behold, we were pleasantly surprised when he said he would be starting the first week of June. We thought we would have a professional crew here...WRONG ! It turns out Brad had sub-contracted out this work to a completely inexperienced kid, who in turn had hired one other person to work with him who had never painted before. The litany of problems would take up several paragraphs. Bare wood left unpainted, paint all over our brickwork (which they attempted to clean), paint thinly sprayed and not backrolled,. These clowns even pulled down my gutter downspouts bent them up, filled them full of screws and re-installed them backwards.After about three weeks of this incompetence , I finally insisted Brad show up on the job to see what was being done. He did show up and directed his minion to attend to all the painting issues (which he did not). A paint job that should have taken a few days by an EXPERIENCED CREW took almost three weeks by these two who would also drink on the job (classy). The only redeeming part of this disaster is that Brad (after much arguing) eventually discounted the total price (just under $9000) by $1200 which was the estimate I had done to repair our downspouts. I would HIGHLY recommend finding out if your painting contractor will be running his own crew, or just "subbing" it out to a flunkie.
