3 days and speeds too slow to run a single TV. Download: 6.45mbps. Upload: 1.57mbps. Zero concern from this company. Looks like I'll be leaving immediately. --- I updated my review earlier today saying exactly this (pic added). I have only 1 TV on and no other devices amd yet "download speed is poor". --- So, I guess all good things must come to an end. After 6 years with LV.NET it looks like it's time to move on. Ever since ISP took over things have changed, and not for the better. I got an email from sales asking me to pay more to get more speed. I looked to see what I had and what they are currently charging me. I see its's $15 more than their current prices, while giving me half the speed they're giving everyone else - nice way to treat a long-term customer. I asked if I was going to continue to pay more, why I can't at least be bumped to the current package. The response was "You have 2 choices, you can continue paying for what you have or pay more to get more speed". Au contraire salesperson Mike, you forgot the third option, I can just move on completely from this low level service. The quality of the service has tanked in the short time they've been ISP. I used to have very few problems, now suddenly I can't even run 1 chromebook and 1 TV at the same time without having problems. I often have to turn off the TV so I can connect the chromebook, then turn the TV back on. Never had that problem with LV.NET. Also, I've completely lost service at least twice recently for no reason. I sent a ticket in and they "fixed it from their side" which means it's their issue, not mine. I will be moving soon so I likely won't bother to change service until the move, but the new house will not be an ISP house given how I'm being treated. read more

I have been a customer of isp.net for over 5 years. I live in an area where local phone company offers very limited dhL internet services. When I switched lv,net as it was called at the time, gave me 8 times faster speed than the phone company's max in my area. The lv.net price was only $ 9.00 more per month. ISP now owns lv.net and they have doubled the speed again, so now I am 16 times faster, for the same $9.00. In the time I have had isp.net, I can only think of 1 time having to call about a service problem, and it was solved in minutes. I called this morning with a billing question. I talked to Jae, and again my question was answered in minutes, to my great satifaction. read more

So I want to start by saying how insanely busy I am all the time. Im a Chef and I never know which way Im going. Jae (in billing) has continuously been patient with me. Going above and beyond to help me understand everything from payment plans to new contracts and equipment. And honestly when I am confused or frustrated I can be very demanding until I completely understand. Jae never has had a problem emailing or calling to make sure all my paperwork and questions are answered. And I have so many questions lol. ISP.net's service itself isn't too bad -- the speeds are fairly reliable and I haven't run into many issues. That said, the pricing is definitely on the higher side compared to other options, so that's something to keep in mind. What really makes the difference, though, is their support team. Anytime I've had questions or needed help, they've been quick, professional, and friendly. I especially want to give a shoutout to Jae from the billing department -- absolutely wonderful to work with, super patient, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I've had ISP.net for 10 years. I'm a residential customer and when I say I've never had an outage or slow uploads/downloads speeds belive me. I kinda chuckle at all the comments out their who have the bigger know names for service when they complain about service, price and reliability I wish I could tell them get ISP.net. pricing is very competitive for the what's out there. Our IT company has been working with Bob Elmore for a few years now. The other ISP's have really begun to drop the ball. The last place we were looking to provide data services was from a wireless ISP from fear of connection issues. We were forced to change at one point and installed ISP.Net for one of our customers, and it was the best thing we could have done. From then on out, I only refer ISP.Net not only because their data service rocks, we RARELY go down, customer service is great and easy to work with, and our guy Bob is on top of everything too. To: ISP.net Date: April 24, 2025 Subject: Formal Complaint and Request for Documented Communication Dear ISP.net, Thank you for emphasizing the importance of communication -- I appreciate that. However, I have several concerns about how communication, service processes, and verification have been handled with my account. 1. Written Communication is a Must: I prefer to handle everything in writing -- not out of inconvenience, but out of principle. I believe documentation protects both parties, and if it's not in writing, it doesn't count. It's okay if your team operates differently, but this is how I do things. I'd rather have a letter I can stand behind in court than rely on, "I called her." 2. No Mail, No Notice: Despite having my correct service address, I received no letter or official written notice about the potential removal of my equipment. My address hasn't changed, and had it changed, you would have been notified to move the service. Phone calls can be missed, especially for customers with financial hardship -- but letters don't get ignored. 3. Over-verification Prevented My Payment: On April 23, I spoke to someone claiming to be Jay from the Billing Department. I gave my name, the phone number I was calling from (which is listed on the account), my service address, email, and my four-digit PIN -- but I didn't have my account number. Despite sharing every reasonable piece of identifying info, I was told I couldn't proceed. This prevented me from making a payment I was ready to give. I've spoken to other reps like Mark and life support and they confirmed that what Jay did was excessive. 4. Missed Opportunity to Pay: Let me be clear: I was prepared to pay. If my payment was denied simply because I didn't have an account number (despite giving my PIN), then that's a failure in customer service. I had every intention of settling my $75 balance for March -- and I still planed to pay the April bill not on the 26th of April but it was going to be paid May 2nd. following my first paycheck or deposit from my new job that started April 23. 5. Equipment Return - On My Terms: As for the service box installed on my wall, I am fully prepared to return it -- but only if I receive a written receipt confirming it was dropped off and accepted. Along with a receipt for my payment. Otherwise I will be leaving with both the payment and the box. I don't know how your team usually handles this process, but again -- this is how I do it. Everything should be in writing. No ambiguity. No "we called you" or "you said." Just proper documentation. Proof like that will always be recommended in court. 6. Final Note: I will not be paying the $250 deposit again. The breakdown in communication and trust has already cost ISP a customer. But I am not trying to avoid responsibility -- I will pay the balance I owe for March and since you disconnected the service remove the box before my April bill then all you get is March. Let me start this by saying I'm not a typical customer--I literally built dial-up ISPs in the '90s. I was the guy updating racks of 14.4 modems to 28.8 while complaining about AOL and CompuServe pushing our prices down. In the last two-plus decades, I've had home internet services from all the big names in Minnesota, California, and Nevada, so my assessment isn't merely anecdotal. Currently, I run my technology consulting firm mostly from my home, maintaining a VPN straight to a private cloud on AWS that extends my home-lab. My daughter and I regularly play high-bandwidth video games together at home (currently Marvel Rivals), each using our own device. For over two decades, I've exclusively watched TV via streaming--or, before that, Pirate Bay--so I'm accustomed to living without traditional cable. I'm also constantly downloading entire operating systems while my daughter watches TV or plays games in the next room. Not only has my bandwidth always been excellent, but I've also never experienced slowdowns. I've escaped the frequent outages I had with Cox every time there were strong winds. Back then, I would literally call Cox, give them traceroutes, and identify the exact POP that needed reinforcement to prevent the outages--it was always the same one. Yet Cox consistently ignored me, insisting it was a vague "technical issue" and claiming their people were "working on it." While initially hesitant to move to a radio-based solution, expecting weather-related outages, I've now been with this provider somewhere between three and five years (time flies when you're having fun!), and I've never once had an outage. Here's the most important part: when I call them, they don't read from mindless drone scripts, don't appear powerless, and never treat me like an idiot. When I speak with their tech staff, we communicate as peers, and their other employees are equally easy to work with. As an example: Recently, I had to vacate a commercial property lease for another business due to zoning issues. To honor the one-year agreement only one month into service, they simply transferred that agreement to my home internet account (used for my work-from-home business), noting that my home service had already far exceeded the one-year mark. My price didn't increase, my service didn't change, and our agreement was managed seamlessly, maintaining integrity for everyone involved. This experience, carefully handled to ensure all agreements were respected, was smoothly facilitated by Jae, who was understanding of my situation and a genuine pleasure to work with. I only wish every city I'd lived in over the last 30 years had a provider like this. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

ISP.net formerly LV.net is hands down the best in the business. They deliver what they say they will! if you have a problem call them 24 hours a day and they will work the issue until it's fixed. I had fluctuating speeds, called them at 9pm and they troubleshot over the phone and narrowed it down to a hardware issue.
