Home style cooking. Wife had eggplant parmigiana. I had the spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and anchovies. Everything was delicious. The service is wonderful and ambience was very pleasant.

The mom and pop atmosphere is a huge draw, and the food never disappoints. They have the best homemade rolls I've ever eaten, and love their pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, and ravioli. My wife always has the Spaghetti with meat sauce. Meals are about $15-$20 per person, and we'll worth it. The staff are hands down super as well. The only downside is parking. The lot is small without any street parking, but it's worth the wait!

This place has the CUTEST Italian ambiance complete with the checkered red tablecloths! My meal was absolutely delicious, I've never seen Sicilian manicotti on a menu before but I love eggplant so I decided to try it, and I'm so glad I did! It was so cheesy and saucy and delicious, with a huge portion size! The service was great as well and our waitress was so sweet and helpful. This place is definitely a hidden gem, I'll be back!

We've been going to Mama Rosa's Italian Touch for about two and a half years. From the first day until our most recent visit on Thursday, it has been a consistently great experience! Same head chef (owner) in the kitchen (always), same person (Julio) bringing water and menus. Same two or three servers including Pina, our favorite. Value for dollar spent is extremely high in my opinion. No matter what the bill is, I walk out of the restaurant happy. Spending the same amount at another local Italian restaurant never feels as good, overall. Here, at Mama Rosa's Italian Touch, I feel like I just had Sunday dinner at my Nanna's house when I was a kid in Ybor City. Today we started with the half liter of chianti. The basic house salad. And bread. One entrée was the Veal Piccata. Veal perfectly done. The piccata sauce was a perfect blend of lemon, butter and capers. Second entrée, the combo veal and eggplant parm. Perfectly done eggplant and veal and a very good sauce with melted cheese. Pasta with alfredo sauce (good) as a side. Tiramisu and coffee was a good finish. This is real home style Italian restaurant from the décor to the hand written bills to the fact that you pay up front, to the well known family and friends who serve you.

The put out excellent NY-style pizza here!

The carpaccio was the worst I've ever had. Instead of thin, delicate slices, it was thick and chewy, more like deli meat than carpaccio, with far too much fat and connective tissue. It tasted fishy rather than fresh, was completely overwhelmed by sesame seeds that didn't belong on the dish, and came with a sauce that added virtually no flavor. The pasta dishes were underwhelming across the board. The ingredients tasted low quality and not particularly fresh, and everything was poorly seasoned. The steak was the biggest letdown. For the price, I expected something memorable, but honestly I've had better steaks from Publix. With a couple of drinks and tip, our bill came to nearly $400 (2 people). At that price point, the quality should be significantly better. Aside from the focaccia, this was a very disappointing dining experience and not one I'd repeat.
