This may be some of the best Italian food I've ever tasted! Saying it was delicious doesn't feel adequate. I ordered the manicotti and I'm not embarrassed to say I ate every bite. The red sauce was sweet and the perfect combination to the cheese manicotti and bread. The spaghetti and meatballs were equally as good as was the chicken parmesan. The chicken was very tender with the perfect amount of crust. The only thing that was slightly disappointing were the side salads. They were an extra $5 and such a tiny portion. I split one and it was maybe 4 bites. The lettuce basically covered the bottom of the bowl. It was good though. I am a cheesecake connoisseur so when I visit places like this I always ask if the cheesecake is made in house. I'm not a huge fan of the frozen, shipped-in versions. The server said they were (it was clear everything was made in house). I ordered a slice of plain cheesecake to go, but of course, I I tried a bite before leaving. OMG! It seriously may be the best cheesecake I've ever eaten. It was so soft and creamy - the perfect concoction. I ordered a second piece to go because one wasn't going to be enough! The service was attentive and friendly. The ambience was dim with candles on each table and the best music was playing. It was located in Benton's old downtown. We ordered carryout: Chicken Parm, lasagna, and a side salad. The sauce was SO salty. The chicken was overcooked and tough around the edges. The lasagna portion was pretty small and didn't have much flavor other than salt. And the $5+ side salad didn't even fill half the little to-go box. My husband and I went there for our anniversary. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs and he ordered the Lobster Ravioli. Mine was ok but his order was sparse. A small town Italian restaurant with big flavors! The decor is a bit dated, but the food is excellent! The service was great as well with great recommendations! They have a special menu each week and I certainly suggest getting whatever they recommend on that menu! We had the ribeye with the sides, all of which were delicious! They had a great selection of wine and our server gave great recommendations based on our preferences! Great place to take someone on a date, or have a more upscale meal! While visiting another restaurant recommended this place. We called ahead to see wait time, glad we did. Made a reservation and got a romantic table by the window. This is a delightfully, elegant small restaurant. Great for date night, though saw families here as well. We had manicotti, Parmesan chicken. Nothing outstanding just good food. Service was a little slow, but meal was hot when delivered. I didn't ask but it seemed like it's made to order. We did order my hubby's favorite: Crème Brûlée and it was delicious. The food here was amazing. The service was good but honestly a little slow. I was there to visit with family so it wasn't a huge deal. Entrees came out one by one with about a 5 min lag for each one. By the time we waited on each other's food mine was not very warm. Didn't stop me from eating it but from the first plate to the last it was about 15 mins. Portions were very generous. We visited tonight on a rare date night and fell in love with the place. Love the ambiance. The staff were kind and attentive and the food was outstanding. The minestrone was full of veggies and the broth was maybe the best I've had. For entrees, my husband ordered lasagna and I had the chicken piccata. Both were fresh and flavorful. The surprise was the mashed potatoes served on the side of the piccata. They were amazing. For dessert we shared chocolate creme brûlée. Our only issue was not ordering two! We were greeted by a kind young lady and we were seated right away. Our server came to take our drink order and was very kind as well but after that our experience just went down hill. We waited almost two hours for two entrees...when we received them the food was bland and the pasta wasn't even cooked all the way, on top of that the Alfredo sauce was extremely runny. So the food was not the highlight of the evening, even after waiting that long for it. The server was obviously busy/overloaded...we felt bad for her and how hard she was having to work. First time eating here. Was a Friday night and we were 1 of 4 tables there. Bread was just ok, they dont bring butter, instead a pico and pesto, which was just ok. MOST amazing food and experience...was looking for a locale owned place to eat since we moved to Benton. Found a burger place so we went down. Found out that place was only opened for 4 hours for lunch so we were still looking. Very near was Italy in town. We decided to give it a change even though it looked small and dated. We were not expecting what we got. Holy cow!! The place was packed and we waited I believe an hour at the bar to get a table. We got a bottle of wine and ordered fried ravioli app then two entrees. HIGHLY recommend this new eatery in downtown Benton. Chico, the owner and chef has spent many years perfecting the Italy in Town Southern Italian menu. We started with a caprese appetizer with fresh ripe tomatoes, basil, and buffalo mozzarella drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Entrees included eggplant parmigiana and grilled ahí tuna steak.
