He was always available via phone to talk about the music, the venue and to make all necessary arrangement to make our wedding special. Please read the entire review for why it was not 5-stars specifically to us. We still had a good time and would definitely recommend Mark's company. Our venue also has Mark listed as one of their top recommended DJs in the area!** Initial review: For context read the entire review. We were married Oct. 23rd, 21. It was easy to communicate with Mark, and from every review we read and from the people we spoke with, he was the best person to have for our wedding. Unfortunately we did not get Mark. Mark told us a month before the wedding he would have another DJ for us, Jose. We were happy with this as we would think anyone representing Mark's company would be just as good. Then a couple days before the wedding we were told we would get another person... My wife spoke with this new person five days before the wedding, and he had never been to our reception location and she had to explain to him about the set up that Mark was already aware of. He did not seem to know answers to questions which got us a little worried. Then he called us three days before the wedding to let us know he couldn't find our recessional (departing) song. This made us a bit more concerned considering he is a DJ, and all of this music is easily found on Spotify. We asked if had the other songs which we had sent a month in advanced (word document to fill provided by Mark) and he said yes. We remained hopeful, but unsurprisingly 10 minutes before the party processional began to walk in I had a weird feeling that something was wrong. By weird feeling I mean he played none of the songs we listed for the seating of the guests. I approached, and discovered he did not have the correct song for the walk in. He showed me how his system did not have the song. This was quite surprising as we listed all the music to be played a month before the wedding. I walked in anyway to the wrong song, but my wife heard the wrong music and thankfully had him stop the ceremony to find the right song. So we restarted the ceremony and I got to walk down twice, which was way better when he found the right song. For our recessional, we had listed the time in the song that we wanted him to start it on, but he didn't do that and just started it from the beginning- which we were happy that at least it was the right song. The new DJ opened the reception with standard wedding music which was not what we wanted, so after another conversation with him he started to play what we hoped he would play (what we had listed on the same document we turned in earlier). What music he did play after that conversation was good, and we had a great time- although he did not mix up the genres like we had asked and had to keep going up to talk to him. Another note, the new DJ also did not accept requests from our guests, and we had to take over at choice moments because he forgot to announce key elements during specific dances. When reading reviews for Mark's company, one of the things that really stuck out was that he also did a great job MC'ing and really engaged the crowd. We did not get this and our DJ barely said a couple sentences during the reception. For example, for the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance, we had requested that he announced for all other father/daughters and mother/sons to join on the dance floor around the 1 minute mark. He did not do this and I had to go up and make the announcement for my wife, and she did the same for me. He also did not have the last song to close out the night that we had requested in advance, and started to play "it your birthday" as our last song. Once again, when asked to play the song we had listed as our last song of the night, he could not find it and played a mix version of it (and it's a popular song). Two stars is appropriate considering three stars would be an average rating. This can't be described as average, two stars is rated because it was still a good time, considering he didn't play most music at the right time, couldn't find music that we requested a month in advance, and for a general lack of preparation even though we had provided a list with specific songs and the artist. We were stunned by the inability of this DJ after all the glowing reviews, but we still enjoyed the evening and made the most of it. I would like to think this was the DJ's first time, but as someone who represents the quality of the company, he did not meet expectations. His assistant also took a video for us which they said they were going to send and were really looking forward to receiving, but failed to follow through with that. I would still suggest the company; just might need a bit more oversight and request an early arrival of your DJ to confirm they know what you want and double check they have all the songs you had requested for special parts of the ceremony a read more

I originally hired Mark of ITC back in January of this year under the recommendation of my wedding planner who has worked with him for countless weddings she has done. Mark is incredibly kind, professional, and I was really looking forward to working the wedding. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Mark was unable to provide his services for my wedding, which I 100% understood and was excited to meet the repacemnet DJ that Mark would be sending for my wedding. The replacement DJ's name was Matt Guisti, and the day before my wedding I got an email from him asking me to contact him A.S.A.P to take care of final details. I was on the phone with him for almost an hr going over the entire playlist, which was incredibly important to both my husband and I. I explained that he could take requests, but only after playing 5 of the songs that were on our playlist. From the get go, Matt Guisti played his own music and was hardly at the DJ booth the entire night, which was not only disappointing but incredibly frustrating. My husband, guests, and I were constantly trying to track him down, but he was too busy socializing with my guests, as well as my father who he knows through his brother. It was obnoxious and rude. He also brought a date to my wedding, and my guests had to take care of her because she drank too much. When my guests tried to track Matt down to take care of his her, his response was "Oh great, another thing on my plate." I was highly disappointed with my experience with Matt Guisti and hope for future weddings/events with ITC that he is either not used, or actually listens to what the bride and groom want, instead of socializing and abandoning the DJ booth. The best thing, out of the entire experience, was the photo booth. EVERYONE loved the photo booth. I was also promised that I would have lights on the dance floor with my husband and my initials, that didn't happen either. I'm not mad at Mark Gouker at all, as he had no way of knowing that all of this occurred and was dealing with his own personal stuff. I had my wedding August 13 in Yosemite. It was not an easy place to find Dj's that would make the drive but thank goodness for ITC Records. Mark is very professional and on top of things. He could not make it to the wedding because of medical reasons, however he still was checking in and did a very professional hand off with Sam. I loved Sam. He was very sensitive about my Do not play list. He kept checking in on me to make sure the timeline was going well. I had no wedding coordinator and he helped me out a lot! I would have given them a 5 out of 5, but unfortunately the photobooth guy was a disappointment. He was young and seemed distracted and did not pay attention to the photo booth and lighting was awful inside. I don't think he communicated with the guests to add a strip to our guestbook. I would just advise a little bit more training on the newbies. However, Sam's customer service helped balance out his partner. After telling them my disappointment about the photobooth, they sent me a flash drive with ALL the pictures so I can relive the night :). I would definitely recommend the DJ, just make sure to communicate with your venue where exactly you want them to be and lights to be. read more

I helped a wedding for my dear friend on 10/29/16. We were referred to ITC entertainment from another DJ who was booked up and we were very happy we did. Our DJ was Sam and he was wonderful. Our bride and groom wanted lots of 80ies and 90ies and he delivered. They also through in some uplighting which really made a difference once we lowered the lights. We danced the night away and he made it very enjoyable but it wasn't just that. When he got to our venue he noticed the cake was delivered to the wrong room and called us to make sure we knew. He really did care about the event we were having and the bride and groom having the best day they could.I could not recommend this company more and could not say more nice things about DJ Sam. read more

This service was terrible. The day before the wedding Mark emailed and said that he could not be the DJ, despite making a big point (during the consultation) of assuring us that it would be HIM there on the day of. The person he sent ("JP") was totally unprepared; the only thing he could do was set up those moving floor lights that we'd specifically said we did NOT want. He didn't make any announcements or play the songs that we'd asked for (including the bride+groom's first dance!!). The father of the groom had to go up to the dj table before he'd play a particular song- he ignored all other requests. To make matters worse, Mark would not apologize for the poor service provided by this other person, and actually went so far as to blame US! Incredible. I have no idea if Mark himself is good, but if he is not the one at your event, I advise you to look elsewhere. I gave two stars since the guy did manage to play some music.
