I am crazy about It's Boba Time. It's always been my main go-to for milk tea! The Alvarado/Olympic location was very clean inside. The service was very quick, and there's a restroom inside for customers. I ordered a Hokkaido milk tea, as always, with boba and lychee jelly, 50% sweet, easy on the ice (it's my go-to, plz try it!) The consistency was perfect, and I love that they actually take my modifications seriously! I've been to some locations that you could tell didn't really half the sugar. I left feeling good, but I do miss the "punch card" they had before the pandemic! I'd always get a free one after my 10th milk tea, and as a regular, I'd get them all the time! My review is strickly based on only online ordering. This spot is close to my house so it's on my way to work but it is always packed and the parking lot here is super tiny for the amount of shops that share this parking lot. They have a variety of drinks for you to try no matter what you are craving. I normally order the mango smoothie if i want something refreshing or the cookies and cream shake if I want a sweet treat. The staff for the most part is nice, I think ive only encountered one employee who had an attitude when i went to go pick up. Drinks are alway made fresh and I've never had an issue with any of my drinks. They no longer have a seating area (thank Gawd!) so it a stop and go location. I ordered online and drove in this store 30 minutes after I placed the order. When I arrived, they said their internet is not working and that I have an option to be refunded once their internet is resumed or they can do the order now and I will wait for about 10mins. Tap here and there on the register and then she said im good. 10 - 15 mins later of standing inside the store, the same lady called me and asked if she can see my online order coz she needs to write it down. Ever since the pandemic I have been finding myself coming here way more often than I did before or ever. At the moment they are allowing only one person to enter the store at a time and with a mask on. My usual go to drink is Thai Tea no boba but recently have been indulging in the Pistachio Frappe. Just these last couple of time I have been getting extra pistachio, it just makes it so much better. I usually get the large since my fiancé and I share it. The cost is decent it's about $5 and some change. They charge 0.50 for the extra pistachio as well. I haven't really tried anything off the food menu. This location accepts cards and cash. I had very delicious bubble tea here the other day. I got something off of their "top 10 drinks" menu that was really helpful in choosing. It had my favorite flavors - coconut tea with fresh strawberries blended into the drink. It really hit the spot. The only thing that I didn't like is that they didn't have the ability to adjust the sweetness of the drink. Since there was that road block, I just asked them to use less powder, since that's what they used to make the drink. The place also had a case of beautifully displayed desserts such as cheesecake and tiramisu. It was super tempting to get but I didn't end up getting any of it. I love the idea of putting fresh fruit inside bubble drinks alongside boba. It makes it super tasty and I wish more people did that. Was not very pleased with the service I got here. I came in around 9:30 pm wanting to order one of their fresh juices, to which the cashier said "oh we stop serving juice at 9:30" yet their menu/sign clearly says they stop serving juice at 10:00 pm. So either the cashier is misinformed or whoever made the menu was. Since the juice wasn't available, I asked if I could have one of their matcha drinks except without the sugar and milk and he could replace that with water instead because milk makes my stomach hurt, but he said no he can't do that either. Like c'mon if my first choice wasn't available (even though it SHOULD be), couldn't he be a little more accommodating? In the end, I got a honey green tea with 75% less sugar.
