There are two stories I can tell about Itsu in Chelsea. If you choose to go to Itsu, I definitely think this is the place. It is expensive - and you will be addicted ever after! If you do not have a reservation, they usher you upstairs to their bar. They have fantastic cocktails and I think alone because of that it is worth going there. They give you a magnet, which lights up, when you table is available. I would not go to Itsu in a big group, as I definitely would recommend you sitting at the sushi bar. All sorts of plates pass you by and you will know by the colour of the plate which price you pay. But do not think this is all, you also can order from a warm cuisine. We normally order teriyaki, some white rice and tempura vegetables. For dessert I can't resist temptation of ordering a crème brulée, really not a Japanese dish but just delicious. Now we were one of the last orders and therefore no more that welcome. Can you believe they put all the left over sushi straight from the sushi bar directly into the rubbish!!! This is why I give this restaurant only an ok rating. As a guest, this is disgraceful to watch. Especially when you pay a considerable amount for those plates. Therefore I decided to get take away from this restaurant only, which are nicely displayed in the cold outside the restaurant.

Much better than Itsu takeaway shops. Good service and food. Quick if you need it to be although you can relax for longer if you wish

While it seems like they basically serve nicer (they claim healthier) cup of noodles, I will say on a cold day their soup options hits the spot. I was hoping their chili chicken gyoza bowl would have had a little more kick to it, but it still satisfied me after walking around in the cold and rain. The bao buns were also tasty. The seating was more communal, but there was a good amount of it.

Walking into the trendy, cool, clean atmosphere was so welcoming. The selection of drinks and little bento boxes was vast. I appreciate the options for small bites so I could get a variety or choose larger bento boxes if I feel like a meal. Out of all the little Grab N Go's, this is by far my favorite. There are little hooks under the tables to attach jackets, bags, handbags, or whatever you please so you can sit with your burdens between your legs instead of spread out in everyone's way. That is an ingenuous idea that needs to be more available and explained to more folks, to be mindful to others, allowing more room and comfort while they enjoy their dining experience.
