Walked in today for a gel manicure with gel removal. I had previously tried another place and my gel manicure hardly lasted a week before it was chipping, peeling, and cracked. Rose, I believe fixed everything for me. She removed the old gel with care, cut all my nails to the same length, and meticulously filed and shaped them. She truly made sure they were even. We even discussed adding a tip to a broken nail. After she got my nails in order, she took her time with my cuticles. I told them to draw the French tip instead of the way she was doing it which is the lazy way of doing a French tip (brushing on the paint and then cleaning it off with acetone) They game out uneven, messy and thick. Not good experience even tho I told her to fix it twice. read more

What's the saying beggars can't be choosers? I was in desperate need for a pedicure and decided to do gel on my nails too. Looking at the photos online I had higher expectations. My manicurist seemed super distracted by his conversations with the staff. My mani probably took a lot longer than it needed to because of that. Not hygienic. No gloves, he kept wiping his nose with his hands, and then going back to my manicure, not to mention taking my main soaking water and dumping it in the same tub where my feet were supposed to soak! Yuck. My pedicure went much better but I also opted for no callus removal or massage bc of my observations. Mani & pedi turned out ok but I felt like I had to be on high alert the entire time instead relaxing. read more

Update on my last review: I recently received another manicure and was cut on several fingers (even drew blood) when she was filing them. She stopped to look at one of the cuts but did not apologize, and my fingers hurt for 48 hrs after the appt :( It's disappointing because they have always done a great job design-wise and it is a beautiful salon, but I wish that more care was taken into making sure clients don't get hurt during the service. I think they're under new ownership.. the young lady at the front who always greeted everyone, took your payment and setup your next appointment is gone. The last two times I went in nobody said a word, nobody at the front.. all the girls sitting talking.. finally I had to find someone to help me.. then for the second time in a row I was told Mike wasn't there for my scheduled appointment with him..the person I had was okay but absolutely no talking.. when I left I had to ask someone to take my payment and she never asked if I wanted to book my next appointment! I decided to give this place a try after seeing it on social media, and it was much closer to me compared to my usual salon. The salon was very clean, offered a huge assortment of different polish colors, and offered a variety of different services. However unfortunately, my experience here fell short of my expectations. I opted for a new acrylic set, and I needed to soak off my previous acrylic set. I was charged $10 for the soak off, which was understandable if they were completely and properly soaked off. I needed to have 4 nails soaked off, while the other 5 nails were pried off using another nail tip. My thumb was giving the tech a hard time, so she ended up placing the new nail tip on top of old acrylic. On top of that, the session almost took two hours to complete. Again, it would be completely understandable if the quality was worth it but my new acrylic set didn't even last an entire week. I had my nails done Saturday morning, and by Wednesday evening two of my nails had entirely come off- not broken, but the entire nail as a whole came off. Not sure if the tech didn't properly prep the nail for acrylic application, but I've never experienced this at any of the nail shops I've frequented before. Overall, I will most likely not be returning due to the quality and cost- if i'm paying the same price as I do at my usual shop, I might as well go the extra distance and receive a service that actually equates to the price. read more

Won was so friendly, professional and kind. I'm very picky with how I'd like my nails to be and she was very patient with me. I ended up getting one color with gel and it cost $35 without tip.
