The first couple of wax salons in Lafayette I went to were fine, but nothing special... But then I found Sphynx Waxing Studio, and ladies, I'm telling you: Kelly is hands-down the BEST waxologist I've EVER HAD!! Kelly is attentive, caring, and knowledgeable: she gives the best tips on how to manage in between waxes to prevent ingrown hairs. She clearly cares about her customers, too -- even when I couldn't make it in for a few months, she remembered me & the family drama I told her about during our very first appointment. She makes the process as painless as possible, too. There's still some discomfort involved (she's ripping out hairs, after all) but she knows how to get it done quickly and gently. The best part, though, is Kelly's fun vibe. She's by far the friendliest and warmest wax professional I've ever met -- every time I go to her for a wax, I end up cracking up because she is HILARIOUS.
