I finally scrapped that at 220k miles and bought a V70. He looked after that for the 9 years I had it, until that too had clocked up 220k miles. Colin and his team always came up with a solution at a sensible price for my rather aged cars. I now have an Audi A6 which is booked in. I cannot recommend Colin enough. Always reliable, keeping me up to date with the repair/service progress and providing excellent value. They have moved to Loanhead.

Don't go near him , I say , try and fit a new engine yourself rather than risk him , he has moved now out to Loanhead by the way, wonder if he was 'run out of town ' , as I have heard he had a very poor reputation.

I chose Meadowfield due to the offer of bonus Tesco points , however now that I have had experience of service from this family run business, I would most certainly not hesitate to use them in the future. The initial online booking was a very smooth,informative process with clear instructions and advice given. I was given a time to take my vehicle into the garage, and on doing so I was immediately attended to by a polite,courteous mechanic and was offered either to wait for the tyres to be replaced or to come back within a short time. I chose the first and sat in their bright, little cabin while the job was carried out. Every now and again someone popped in, always with a friendly smile. After about 40 mins, another friendly face came in to tell me the job was finished and I was ready to go - not only new tyres fitted but also 'perfectly balanced' after I may have 'set them off a bit' , probably hit a kerb or something!! Excellent customer service, time slot quoted was actual time of appointment-fantastic, 5 star plus in all areas. Thank you Meadowfield, one very satisfied customer here. Mrs Martin

Payment was simple cash or bank transfer. Even offering to come to my work if it was easier to collect payment. The work was a high standard with great tyres. Wheels are well balanced. I contacted sean at 7pm not expecting a reply, to recieve a reply very quickly and even better offering next morning fitting. Kwik fit wont do that for you unless you go in and then pay more. I will use again and would advise anyone needing tyres to try Sean at pit stop. Thanks for the tyres fast service and no pressure sales.
