I did some research and found that this mechanic shop had great reviews and decided to give them a call in the morning once they opened to figure out what was going on with my van. The Tow truck driver showed up at the hotel to tow my car 15 minutes before the shop opened and advised me that they are always super busy and there is nowhere to even park. He advised that I call first to check and see if they can even get me in. He was nice enough to wait until 8 AM ones they opened and I contacted them and explained my situation. The gentleman was really friendly and welcoming and said that he can "squeeze me in" in between appointments to help me out and get me back on the road. The van was towed to the shop where it was diagnosed. gentleman then explained everything to me that was going on and quoted me a price that was very reasonable. I agreed to do the repair and he ordered the parts fixed the van and I was back on the road within one hour. it couldn't have been a smooth transaction and these guys are down to earth and very good at what they do.

Walt was amazing in so many areas: - took care of them as they were stranded in Western PA - outstanding mechanic who diagnosed the issue with many pictures of the missing oil plug and internal damage from the Jiffy Lube service. - acquired a top-notch engine replacement (sent pictures along the way) - completely installed a new engine and drove it 70+ miles to ensure everything was good. - very easy to communicate with, kept us informed during the entire process, and very understanding of our situation. My son dropped his car off on a Wednesday night to be looked at Thursday morning. Everyday we had to call to check the progress and was told they would call the next morning. The weekend went past and still nothing. So I called Monday and the person who answered said he knew nothing about the vehicle and he would have the "other guy" call me, of course no one did. So Tuesday morning I decided to drive there, 2 hours from home to inform them that I was there to pick up my vehicle. When I asked about the multiple times we were told they would call with an update, he had the audacity to say you know we are busy. No sir, I the customer do not know how busy you are, nor is it my responsibility to figure it out. It is the responsibility of any reputable business to let the customer know if they cannot complete a job they accepted knowing how "busy they are". So long story short I was finally told they fixed something they thought was the problem but turns out it was not. So I was charged $200, to still be in the predicament I started. Very poor customer service skills. Would NOT recommend.
