I had a "big name" company come and quote me $10,000 for my main to be replaced, they had to come out twice as the first tech was not as experienced, 2nd team left and didn't put my clean out cap back on. Chris from A1 came out as expected, heard my experience and went to work, not only is the flow restored he gave tips on how to help me PREVENT them from coming back out. The knowingly SEVERED our line…read morewhile doing some work for our neighbor and when we called them, not aware yet, they had notes of this and still charged us for a scope then after many questions admitted that they cut our line, asked us to pay for the work as Maury doesn't want to "eat the price". We said hell no and when asked for a refund for the scoping since this wasn't our fault, he lied and threatened to charge us for the neighbors work and said we caused some of it. It was a break in a 90+ year old pipe which is at fault of no one. Said it's a small price we have to pay, never once did Maury apologize for the mistake, call us, explain anything or come to our door. We also are told that he had to have permission to cut a line and a permit. which he would not have gotten as our line would have been deemed in use. He was going to make us sit with human waste in our basement where my kids have rooms, for a week and turned his phone off when we called to see that we get moved up as NONE of this was our fault and we were left in the dark. His manger got us on the schedule a day earlier which is the only reason I'd give less than half a star if this website didn't make me. My name is Earl Harts He came to our home to do a service…read morerepair. He charge us $450.00 to pump water out from our basement. He then referred us to Direct Flow Service to dig to replace a broken tile at the tree. We gave him $1500.00 to start the job. He never came back to finish the job. He wants to collect another $1000.00 without finishing the job. He covered the hole and left about 3 ft of dirt on top of the hole. He verbally gave us a 90 day warranty with work done from the house out about 10 ft to the sidewalk . The problem as I have been previously advised exists at the tree which is aprox. 50 from the house. We have had this same problem prior several times and each time was roto rooted at the tree which took care of the problem temporarily. He said if we didn't pay in full he would add on $30.00 a month until paid. He never gave us a Contract - just receipt for the $1500.00. We wonder if he even has a permit to do this work.

I called and was told he was running late. 7pm comes and a guy calls saying he was on his way. 11pm comes and the guy calls again and asks if I want him to come over still or wait until in the morning. I said wait till morning so you can see what you are doing. My roommate or myself had to help him a lot of times because he couldn't get behind the washer or he had to have help for certain thing. I got so annoyed I had to leave for awhile. He was at my house from about 9am to after 10pm and nothing accomplished. Had me pay over $400 in cash so he could tell his boss the reason why he was at my house all day and fixed absolutely nothing was because he was fixing machinery. He said they were taking money out of his pay due to him breaking another piece of equipment that wasn't his fault. So he was going to give them $90 out of it. He was so fat, he bent my gutters trying to get on roof. He NEVER FIXED problem so I have been without a toilet and shower in my main bedroom with stuff coming up through shower when he promised to come back and fix. I tried calling office but she didn't want to listen. I just want to be able to use my bathroom again. That's all!!
