My husband had this original designer ring rush ordered for Mother's Day and I noticed only a week later that the plating wasn't right... The inside of the ring had some tool clamp markings and discoloration from the plating not being finished correctly in the final process of rhodium plating. (I decided not to fault the designer due to such a fine piece being rushed on my husband's request to gift it to me in time, and this is why hand crafted pieces shouldn't be rushed) I took it to Joel and he went above and beyond for me to make my dream ring absolutely flawless and PERFECT! WOW. These are the nicest people I have ever met with genuine compassion and care. I went to Joel after not feeling right with a previous jeweler. My fiancé proposed to me and we went straight to a jeweler after since I was so excited and wanted my ring to fit. That jeweler convinced me to get sizing beads instead of resizing, which then took 3 weeks to get back to me and it still fit too loose. I called Joel the day I got my ring back because I felt really defeated and needed a second opinion. I was just inquiring about what we could do and how we could fix it, and I about cried when he told me they would make things right. I felt heard on what I want and was treated like a human. Joel does the repairs himself and makes it look flawless. You could never tell that the band used to have beads. The man who helped me must have acquired good nature from every tattoo he had on his arms and neck. Wonderful experience here! My kid brother's medical alert bracelet had a loose latch and wouldn't stay on him, so I've been calling around desperately trying to find someone who could fix it ASAP. Hands down 10/10 would recommend Joel in taking care of all your jewelry needs! I have taken multiple pieces of jewelry in for Joel to fix. He is friendly, professional, and timely with his repairs. A repair in particular that seals the deal for me that he will be my go to jewelry repair guy, is the resetting he did for my engagement ring. My engagement ring setting that was custom made somewhere else was constantly bending out of shape and I was afraid I'd lose the diamond one day. Joel fixed the setting on it once before for me and warned me it could move again due to how the prawns were made. Sure enough, it started to move again so I brought it in and Joel was extremely professional and helpful when I told him I wanted it to be reset into a stronger setting. He listened to my concerns, gave honest feedback, and was upfront about the timing it would take for him to finish. He reset my engagement ring and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Because of the sentimental value with my original rose gold setting I had him melt it down into a regular band that I wear almost daily if I'm at work or being active. Joel is the most talented, honest and amazing human you will ever meet! I am so lucky to call him my friend and it's just an added bonus he's a bomb ass jeweler. He has been such an important part of my life. He's has made my engagement ring, my fiancés ring (he's a musician and he made me a fretboard w/ black diamonds.) We tricked him to come into the store to get "sized". Meanwhile, his ring was inside the case in a box. I filmed the whole thing and he was stoked how cool the ring was when we pulled it out and told him it was his. Funny side story, a lady tried to purchase it several hours before we got there! Haha!
