In fact I think I have one of the best dentists in the country. I was amused at the superb technology. It was essential that I had a care plan from the start. The start was near a year ago now and I'm still not finished. So I was brought into the room with the x Ray contraption. A metal arm hung from the ceiling with an X ray unit; I was instructed to stand at the chin rest, rest there and bite on a plastic lip. The instructor stepped back and the contraption started to whirr. If you've been to Disney Orlando you'll have heard the 'Voice of Disney' the wonderful Jack Wagner particularly on the monorail. I say this as the x ray contraption began to speak aka Jack style. Please close your eyes, please rest your chin and bite, you will shortly hear a noise as the machine revolves but don't worry this will take 10 seconds. Then Jack said please open your eyes and step back the x ray is completed. Fast, painless and a comprehensive x Ray of my skull, teeth, gum, bone - remarkable detail really. It's great to be in safe hands.

Their service is of the highest quality, the friendliness of all staff from the receptionists,dental nurses to the dentists themselves is always reassuring. Being a "nervous patient" I probably havent been the easiest patient on occcassions-however,Parks understands and sympathizes with this and do all they can to put you at your ease. The enviroment of the dental surgery itself is also comforting,designed and decorated to a very high and modern standard - making it a pleasant, non clinical enviroment to be in. The service of staff members is polite,friendly and professional and I have always felt like a valued patient every time I visit. I would highly recommend Parks Dental surgery .

I recently had to attend the dentist as an emergency as I managed to loose a crown and break the tooth. I got an appointment the next day and had the remaining tooth painlessly extracted. I think that in this day and age of waiting times this is to be commended. All the staff are pleasant and friendly and NHS patients are accepted. Wether it is for that six monthly or emergency visit it can be a more painless experience at Castlebawn. (In my case if I hadn't been stealing a sneaky matchmaker I could have avoided that emergency appointment !).

The second is that the hospital has developed different sections at different times throughout its existence which has meant that its turned into a bit of a maze. Trying to blend the original hospital into the newer parts of the building hasn't really worked out and resulted in some parts being in areas where you wouldn't expect and at some point in the future someone will have to make changes to which departments are situated on which floors and where they are most suitable. The space isn't being managed to its best possible potential. All types of medicine should be on the same floor and same area to make everything better managed. Cant fault the staff though even the junior doctors on weekends.

As they say the rot starts at the top and trickles down and owner allows his staff to be rude to patients and their families. Appalling service and the only good point is the female Orthodontist has good old fashioned manners and courtesy. This is something which this practice lacked and Stephen Mckenna is rude and arrogant in my opinion. All I can say is you have been warned go to Finaghy instead as much better!

I guess most people know exactly what high street giant Boots is like, so there's no point in going into too much detail about it. Despite the fact this particular Boots is a large store carrying a vast and varied stock I just don't shop here as much as I used to. This is because I prefer Superdrug own-brand products which are labelled Vegetarian, Vegan and Cruelty Free. I find it disappointing that Boots will not commit to the Leaping Bunny Program for its own-brand items. Thus, although they pay lip service to the Cruelty Free ethos and may tell the public that their products are cruelty free, Boots could be selling products worldwide in countries, such as China, where animal testing is the norm and sadly a requirement. I just won't support this nor give my money to a company which profits from cruelty outside the European Union. No amount of heavy duty marketing, loyalty card points, two for the price of one special offers, discounts or sales offers will make me think otherwise. Hence nowadays I avoid Boots as much as possible and instead shop at Superdrug or online from companies I am confident are truly Cruelty Free on a worldwide scale.

The bath experience itself left me extremely relaxed and my skin was left very much rejuvenated. The soak group comprises of apartments, tea rooms, sea weed bath facilities and spa treatment facilities. We stayed in their 4 person apartment, with views overlooking the waves smacking against Newcastle and the coast and the Mourne mountains. The facilities are excellent, including a fully kitted out large kitchen and dining facilities, living area, with lovely bay windows and a small balcony so you can take in the whole view, and 2 bedrooms with one ensuite and a bathroom, clean, bright and comfortable, you can't fault them. The management and staff are excellent, very accommodating and friendly, and give you plenty of information on treatments and facilities. We had a sea weed bath each in our own room and a couple of their spa treatments, all were very relaxing and not very expensive. Great place and can't wait to go back when the weather improves!
