She was fun and accommodating and was smiling the whole time, even though it was a bit chilly. The first time we saw Dan Dan the Choo-Choo Man was at a friend's birthday party a couple years ago, and they've continued with the great service and experience. Kids and adults can ride in the covered train cars, and even passers-by can't help by smile when they see you go by. I'd highly recommend booking Dan Dan the Choo-Choo Man for your next party or event. I'm not sure exactly how far they go from their offices in Emmett, but we're in Lake Orion and they had no issue coming out and arriving in plenty of time for our fun entertainment.

Booking was easy enough (about a month out for a Satuday event). The train came right on time and was a lot of fun! The train holds 12 kids but adults can ride too (and we did!!). Boys and girls ages 4 months to 12 years all rode as well After the train left, my three year old told me it was *SO* much fun and his best gift ever and I seriously almost cried (yes, I'm a big sucker for the kids). So it's going to be tough to top it next year and seriously was a great change of pace (and bigger hit) the usual bounce house or costumed character we usually do. Our conductor (Sheryl I believe her name was) was GREAT! Great with kids (even the naughty ones) and fun with adults! You can tell she enjoys her job and has a lot of fun with it. My son is so anti-social about "new people" sometimes and even he thought she was so much fun. She seemed to have made herself familiar with our neighborhood and was able to take our train to a lot of cool places (parks, schools, businesses) which was exciting instead of just around the block 50 times (which the kids probably still would have liked, lol). I HIGHLY recommend something like this for children's birthday parties. I think a lot of people don't realize the price is very reasonable (175 for an hour... and an hour is a nice amount of time). The younger kids LOVE it and the older kids get a kick out of going on "parade". Also, I was told the train can run in light rain so even though we had a sunny day I was glad to know that a little drizzle would not ruin our fun (it initially was going to rain last weekend here). She is a fraud. She did my maternity pictures and they are nothing special but, that's not what I'm complaining about. While I was pregnant, I did not have time to look for another photographer so, I gave her a deposit of a $100.00 for the newborn session. I paid the deposit online. I did not get a contract for the baby session and I was suppose to schedule the appointment after the baby was born. The first month my baby and I were both very sick. I reached out and told her we were both sick and if we can schedule a date the 2nd month. She sent me a text. She said to me that she could not do it the 2nd month and that I had to wait until the baby was 3 months old. She also used an excuse of being booked the 2nd month. I was not happy but, I did not say anything to her about it because, I did not want to upset her. We scheduled the appointment for the 3rd month on the time that was best for her by text because, that is how she communicates with her customers. She wont answer your calls. After booking the appointment by text...I called to ask her a simple question and I was hesitant to call and ask her because, I knew by the previous text messages she sent me that, she was upset about me not booking with her the first month. All I called to ask is if it was possible to change the appointment for the 3rd month. She did not answer my call so, I sent her a text and that is when things got worse.This is what her response was by text...... "Hello I apologize for any confusion, however I never heard back from you about booking your session in order to get the contract signed." Oh Really!!!!! My thoughts were...What is she smoking?!?! What contract!?!? I paid a deposit a couple of months before the baby was born and got an invoice. We booked the appointment for the 3rd month by text? I never signed any contracts especially one with an expiration date. I would understand if I had scheduled an appointment and cancelled it. She did not give me any other options. She cancelled the appointment on me for the 3rd month and kept my deposit. She told me in the text...there is nothing she can do and that she is booked till 2020 and my contract is Void. I apologized to her for being sick and for not being able to schedule an appointment the first month. I was always respectful to her. How unprofessional of her to send me a text message telling me the contract is VOID and there's nothing else she can do. I would understand if she did this to a person who was being very difficult. I would understand if I scheduled an appointment and cancelled it. I only scheduled one appointment with her and it was done on her time. I could not do the first month because my baby was in and out the hospital every week. She did not want to take the pictures the 2nd month and I scheduled the appointment with her for the 3rd month by text. If there was a contract how did I break it??? I am so far from being a difficult person and, I can not stand people who live to complain but, this lady cancelled on me and kept my deposit. This is why I call her a fraud. She is lying and saying that a contract expired. If there was a contract that I signed with an expiration date...I would have remembered. Why did she not send me a reminder. Why did she not mention anything about the contract coming close to expiring while I was scheduling the appointment with her for the 3rd month. She was quick to send me text and email reminders to pay for my maternity pictures before the time was due. Beware! Save yourself a headache and stress. Take your business somewhere else. Do not be fooled by her website. Her work is below average. There is nothing special about her work. My baby is almost 4 months and I do not have professional baby pictures. Thanks to this fraud.
