Yes, the shop is located at a crossroad in the middle of farm country, literally next to nothing. Not really hard or excessively chewy that your temples hurt after eating a few pieces. It was pretty salty, but all beef jerky is. My husband who likes gamey meats said it was a bit gamey. They're an incredibly lovely little place that sells amazing cuts of meats, superior quality and has wonderful packages! We love their "Pick 5" and "Steak Pack" packages and have purchased multiples of them! Their smoked pork chop is also to die for! They are a little far from us (we're from Oakville) but every couple of months we would drive out and top off our meat supplies. They are also conveniently pre-packaged in vacuum sealed packs which makes meal planning very easy.
