On the downside, it is often quite difficult to get served you really do have to fight for their attention. Be prepared for a bit of cockney banter and you can even haggle down the price on occasions. It is more of a functional shop catering to people who are using their bike to get places rather than purely for exercise or sport. This shop has been here for many years and I remember it as a child (which was, er hem, a long time ago). Anyway the staff are friendly and were able to fix my bike within the afternoon. Seem to be well stocked with accessories and bikes...the shop also had a good vibe, with customers passing through who seemed familiar to staff which is good to see.
