It is a bit strange for me to give this place 5 stars. If this was a store in any English speaking…read morecountry, I would still visit, and even probably like it, but my passion would not run so deep and strong. I am a lover of books. I love the feel, smell, sight, everything about them. I love the weight of them in my hands, the sound of the pages turning, the places they take me, the people I meet within their pages, and the sadness I feel when the story is finished. While most books stores in Prague has a small selection of books, this is the place to go when I feel the need to really browse, pick up something other than the latest best seller in America or England, or a book by a Czech author that isn't Kundra or Kafka. The selection isn't as vast or as plentiful as even a lot of the independent bookstores in other places (The English Bookshop in Stockholm I am looking at you) it is still nice to have it around.

The prices were commensurate with The Globe bookstore...about right. I would not go back. I can't comment on the service as I didn't buy anything. Skip it.
