Now I don't mind paying someone for good honest work, but handing over hard earned cash for something YOU offered, and declined to inform was chargeable AND other places offer free of charge is ridiculous. On 3 August I had taken my insignia estate to Bristol street motors chesterfield for some recall…read morework to be done , I was told to collect it at 3pm the same day , at 1800 I was still sat in there showroom waiting for it , then I was told now the boot will not open so I can keep the courtesy car it's now been a week and they still haven't fixed it and now they tell me they have blown a switch while fitting the recall part and they can't get a replacement switch until the 20th of August so I am stuck in a corsa until then . Then I received a phone call to say the car was ready and I could collect it any time, when I rang them back to advise them I was collecting that afternoon I was told the car was not ready and they was still waiting for a part , I rang vauxhall uk head office and strangely the car was fix and all ready 3 hours later Needless to say they will never see it again or me

Hi, Bristol Street Motors,…read more When I first contacted them, they advertised the cheapest cars in Britain. For me I was unsure at first, but my worries were groundless. A Mr John Woodcock a Sales Executive at Chesterfield Peugeot quoted me the cheapest all in, up front price for a Peugeot 3008 Allure 1.6 EGC Diesel Automatic, I placed my order there and then. The delivery was slightly longer than I first thought, but was not the fault of Bristol Street Motors as I did not order a standard model, it had extras and therefor was a factory order, and Peugeot shut down for a month during August in France. I think it is unfair to quote the price, but I can assure you the discount was substantial and well worth my trip to chesterfield. All the staff are pleasant and polite, from Andy the General Manager down to the service department, a very professional organization. Would, I recommend them, yes, If you are looking for a fair deal and quality service, look no further as Bristol Street Motors are the company for you. You won't be disappointed. And the Car, WOW, what a car, I can highly recommend this model, it's got all the kit and more. It's like a jet fighter, with HUD (colour display.) neat. with satnav input. wicked. Before I bought my car the reviews online were vague and didn't do the Allure EGC justice, put it in sport mode, performance, plenty. I could go on all day. The price quoted on the phone was reasonable, and cheaper than most of the others that I sought. A few hours after dropping the vehicle off, I was contacted by the garage to let me know that they were having trouble fitting the units. They had also been proactive and been in contact with the company that I had bought the units from to seek advice. Unfortunately, the units were not compatible with the vehicle (not the garages fault - this was a listing error by the internet seller). The guys put back the old lights and left the vehicle in exactly the same way that it was when I dropped it off. Although they still carried out virtually the same amount of work, they charged me a small proportion of the quoted price, which I felt was brilliant customer service and very honest of them. I would not hesitate to use them again.
