They do several types of stuffed bun like this and they're the only place I know to do this. Utterly delicious. Previously I have bought many steaks, countless pounds of sausages, bacon, chicken and pork. All of it has been excellent. Cockburns have recently started making pork and black pudding pies. One of my favourites is Harrogate Blue from Shepherd's Purse and I bought a large lump. The L&C wrapping showed a best by date of 26 May. When I got home on the Sunday I put the wrapped parcel in the fridge. On Monday I opened it to have some with lunch. It immediately did not smell right. Upon unwrapping the original Shepherd's Purse label had best by date of 3 April. The rind was oozing and over-ripe. I emailed Lewis and Cooper, no response.
