I'm getting my house ready to put on the market and have been making multiple repairs and upgrades. I have had so many contractors in and out, but JVega was just exceptional. They repainted my kitchen ceiling, pressure washed deck and walkways. We got the dreaded "You need to paint your house" letter from our HOA and I'm so glad that we were able to find J Vega painting via Yelp. We live in Gwinnett and there were A LOT of options/companies available to us. We received a few quotes (some higher, some lower), but from the beginning of the process, Jose (the owner), with his professionalism, was head and shoulders above every other company. Jose came out and took a look at the property, answered all of my questions in a relaxed, easy going manner with no bs. We had to wait awhile to get "approval" from our HOA but Jose's communication throughout the process was perfect. His team of guys were awesome, as well. They were very professional and respectful and you can tell they take pride in their work. I wish every small business owner took pride in their work and paid attention to the small details like Jose and his team. Such a great company, I couldn't recommend José and his team any more. He gave me a good price on painting our living room (some other contractors sent me ridiculous quotes). They arrived when they said they would and brought the exact color I had previously chosen and asked them to get. Once again we talked briefly about what I want to paint and to what color and they started working immediately. He and his team were super quick: they arrived after 1pm and they finished and cleaned up by around 5pm! Before they left I checked the room thoroughly and could see some "stripes" where they did the cut ins, so I was a bit worried that the color wouldn't be smooth eventually. He reassured me that when the paint dries completely it will be smooth and nice. He refused to be paid on that day! He said he would come back the next day and in case I find anything I don't like or the paint doesn't dry nicely they'll fix it. But it wasn't necessary as he was right--next morning the room looked fabulous. (Btw, next day he came back to make sure that everything was ok.) No hidden charges, no surprise extra fees--exactly what they quoted. I'm happy with the job they've done and I would absolutely use them again! read more

I can't say enough good things about Jose and his team! I got 3 quotes on painting my house exterior. I met Jose first and immediately liked him and felt good about him. His quote was very competitive. I have lived in my house for 33 years. I have had it painted about 5 times. I'll tell you, none of the other companies, including one of the big nation-wide companies did a job anywhere as good as Jose and his team did. First they power washed my house...even that was more thorough than other companies have done. They got red clay off my foundation that I tried and couldn't get off previously with my power washer. When they left on that day, my house looked so much better already. Day 2 really impressed me: Prep Day. That old saying that a good prep is the sign of a good painter is true. They didn't just spend a couple hours on the obvious things as I had expected them todo. They spent the whole day, patching, replacing siding in places, filling little holes. I have never had a painter put even close to that amount of time and attention on prepping before they painted. It is obvious that Jose takes a lot of pride in his work. The third day, they came and painted my house using a high quality Sherwin Williams paint with a limited Lifetime Warranty....instead of the generic no-name paint that the other painters said they would use. The results were beautiful! My house looked better than it did when I bought it new in 1990! The quality of the paint he used was better than the builder used or any painters before him. It looks like a brand new house and I'm so pleased! I will use Jose again and he will be the only painter that I will recommend to friends and family. Got estimate from Jose for exterior painting of my house. It's a 4 side brick so mostly trim but required a lot of woodwork and prep due to condition. Provided a complete estimate with photos at a very fair price using SW Duration paint. Was flexible on schedule due to rain. Showed up on time as agreed and got right to work. Each day they were on site at 7:30am. Jose was onsite for the whole job. The crew was hard working and seemed experienced working together like a well oiled machine. And so very polite. To make this short and simple. I am overjoyed with the job that Jose and his crew did!! Additionally their professionalism seems hard to come by these days. Simple things like requesting a quote and actually receiving it, knowledge about products to use, contacting me to let me know they are on there way, letting me know they are leaving, cleaning every thing up, not trampling the yard....... etc..... After reading the great reviews about the company and seeing some of the pics, I was very impressed. I contacted Mr Vega about a quote, and he responded promptly. He requested that I send pics of the areas to be painted, which I did. Mr. Vega then asked that I call him and share more details. I complied. After several texts were exchanged, he finally told me he had been super busy and would drop by that Thursday. Today is Sunday, and I still have not seen him or received a quote.
