The store is quite small; every corner and shelf is full of something interesting. You can find a nice array of jewelry, beauty products, accessories, and much more! The more you look, the more you find: keychains, coin purses, nail polish, perfume, earrings, cards, handbags... I saw the cutest dog bowl in the window, that's what drew me in, but left with a whole bunch of C.O Bigelow products instead. If like me, you enjoy cute little boutiques with a vintage vibe, and love spending time looking for trinkets or one of a kind hidden treasures, then you need to stop here!

Turns out, it's like the dollar store, but stranger. Dim lighting, scattered and spotty selection. But actually, amazing selection, at the same time. A whole wall of craft supplies! Google-eyes, jewelry findings, embroidery floss, beads. Cheap yarn. And then all the other things...curtains, coffee pots, rice cookers, brown sugar, hair wax, mothballs, lighters, kids' toys, coat hangers, candy, glue...you know. Everything. It's sort of amazing. I may only be back for the craft supplies, but that alone is worth it.

She carries amazing collections form Italy, France, Spain, and other parts of Europe. They provide alterations. Delevanti has a really nice selection of cocktail dresses and probably one of the best knitwear styles in the city. It is an old school dress shop where the sales people really dress you. This is not the kind of shop you can just walk into and choose something off the rack. I have bought several coats over the years and they are truly timeless. When I am in europe i feel I fit the part. The owner has helped me with making a selection for a cruise and I kept getting complements on my outfits night after night. This store is truly a hidden gem. Many women who can afford to shop anywhere come here, for the selection , exclusivity of the garments and the service. Whenever I have a gala I come here, because I know no one will have the same dress as me!

Bad customer service is also the main reason why customers leave companies. Today I experienced the worst customer service face-to-face experience in my life. Yesterday, Saturday December 5th 2009 at approximately 11 a.m I went to the Cavendish mall to have a coffee. I passed by the DELEVANTI store (not the one for children but the one for adults) and I saw a nice dress. I entered the store to see the dress, ask for the price and see other dresses (As I have two Christmas parties coming soon and I am searching for a special outfit). There were two 'ladies' for customer service, the older one was the rudest person working for customer service I have ever seen. She asked me if I was going to try the dress and I said that today I just wanted to see the dresses. She literally told me that if I wasn't going to try the dress today it was better if I leave and come another day. I say to her that I wanted to see what type of dresses they have and the prices too. She said again, come back some other day when you are 'ready'. Ready for what?? If I wanted I could have purchased one dress that day...but obviously she wasn't encouraging that AT ALL!!! I insisted that I wanted to see the dresses and because this is a free country I walked towards the rack where they have the dresses. She literally said to the other lady..."I think she doesn't understand". I reply to her: I understand what you are saying but I want to SEE, to SEE the dresses! so I went and do that...she then said to me: Now I need to be standing next to you while you see the dresses and you are wasting my time!!!!! That's what she said...Me, a potential customer, I was wasting her time!!!! There was no other customer on the store ...zero! I just looked at her and said do you really need to be standing next to me "wasting your time" Amazing!!!!!! I left the store and I will never come back again. On top of that I am planning on tell all the people I know at work, at McGill university where I study and literally to all the people I can how bad is the customer service in that store.
