We have a long flight to Lisbon and decided to stop in and get a bite to eat before we boarded. Big mistake stopping at this place. My friend ordered a turkey burger and some fries and I ordered some chicken tenders and some fries. Just trying to play it safe because it was a restaurant in the airport terminal. With that being said, my chicken tenders were as hard as a rock and the inside was so overdone and stringy that it was hard to bite through and it was so bland. There are two areas to the pub. We opted to sit in the area near the windows where it was quieter. Service was prompt since it wasn't busy. This side of the pub doesn't have draft beer so only cans are available. Also, water and other fountain drinks are only available bottled. Stopped in before my flight and Connor was my bartender. He strongly recommended the wings when I asked and he was right! They were perfectly crispy and fresh. The reason for my 2 stars it's because the menu has a price listed and they charged me a different price. When asked she " will idk that seems wired " and walked away after grabbing my card. When you are in Philly, you need to get the cheesesteak. I got mine with the Whiz. It was good. Max got a beer and I had an Old Fashioned. Service was fast because they knew we needed to catch a plane. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to take my drink on the plane so I had to chug it down. The eggs were standard, the scrapple was actually good, but the pancakes tasted funny. There was something off about the pancakes. It may have been the water that was mixed in with the batter, but the pancakes tasted more like beer battered pancakes, and not in a good way. Probably would not recommend getting the pancakes. Again while they were amazing they were not enough and a bit too pricey for what you get. My bill was $20 for that and a water.
