By far the worst experience ever. Staff is rude from the beginning at ordering. Nothing I was ordering was available. Wouldn't accept cash at window. Manager should POST that on the menu at ordering! Chose the truck-stop across the street, because there was a Jack-in-the-Box-- a favorite fast-food I don't get often on the road. I walked in, and was told to put on a mask. I answered, "It is contraindicated." The guy at the counter (who purports to be the manager, named Theron, or something like that-- hard to tell through his mask) says and gestures, "You have to put on a mask." I say, "I am catching my breath as it is. A mask is contraindicated." Theron pretty obviously doesn't know the word, but is real certain to give medical advice, he says, "Well, until you put on a mask, I need you to go stand by the door." "No. I am not wearing a mask. It is contraindicated. Do you not know what that means?" "Sir, I am not talking to you until you put on a mask." I say, Then get me the manager." But Theron walked off gesturing for others to ignore me. I yell it the next time. An employee points at Theron, and says, "He *is* the manager." Good Lord! So, if your training is to make persons wear masks for whom wearing a mask is the most dangerous and life-threatening thing they can do, you might want to bone-up on vocabulary related to who must, and who must not, wear a mask-- or perhaps listen from behind your plexiglass bubble to a customer who was willing to teach you. Theron is an idiot, because Theron wants to be-- and knows no other way. Don't be like Theron. They need better training and better management at night so they can do better. Convenient location, but I pass it by until they attract better help. Sometimes this place is great but when it's bad it's really bad. Why are the fryers always down anyway? I always go at night when the employees are sometimes rude. Last night I pulled in at midnight and the girl spoke as if she was mad that I was there. I ended up driving away bc I'm not about to get into it with her (which I did a little) and give them my money. What if they spit in my food?
