I rarely go to Jack in the Box. But, they are my friend's favorite fast food tacos. Using the Jack app, they are 2 tacos for 99¢. So, we going ourselves here late night. This location is clean and the counter person was friendly. The interior is fairly small, but there is a small patio outside. I find their burgers generally average. Nothing special, but nothing bad about them. If you get them on sale through the app, they're not a bad price. read more

"Peace Be With You, Shalom, Buenos Dias, & On-Ya-Ha-Say-O" Came in early while waiting for AutoZone to open across the street. I was wearing my white Islamic thobe and asked Jose, the cashier, for a cup of water after realizing I didn't have funds in my account. I asked twice, but instead of helping, he brought out the manager. Shoutout to David, the manager, who was respectful, understanding, and even said, "I don't know why he didn't just get you the cup." He explained Jose is older and hard of hearing, which helped put things in perspective. At first, I felt a bit judged by Jose's look, possibly because of my attire. Later, I calmly asked if I offended him--he said no, he was just working hard unloading a truck. Room for Improvement: Better communication and making all customers feel welcome--regardless of how they're dressed--can really make a difference. Also, the bathroom could use a fresher smell, especially early in the morning. Unless that's already on Jose's to-do list and he just hadn't gotten to it yet. Went in today and had an experience..... everything was going amazing, this girl I would say about 20 years old was super nice and honestly doing an awesome job. Until I heard this agonizing noise, some lady in the back I assume a manager was interrupting the girl handing my order. She had everything okay and perfectly executed. I guess this lady wanted to make sure she had the water cup ready to the point she was extremely rude and unprofessional. There are never enough employees so the drive thru line is wild. We try to come here as infrequently as possible but sometimes I have a craving for tiny tacos and an ultimate cheeseburger. If I could give a zero I would. I was laughing in the car with my sister and nieces and they said to stop yelling and refused service to us. When we asked for a manager and said we were confused they called the cops on us. When the cops came they said they completely understood OUR side and to just not come back to this place because they didn't see anything wrong. I've never in my life experienced anything like this. Were my sister, nieces, and I laughing? Of course! Was it cause to be refused service and for the cops to come, absolutely NOT! When we asked for clarity they said they didn't have to tell us. Should be called "Joke in the Box" Speaking on quality of food and customer service. This location is terrible and it is super inefficient. Every time I come here I have a bad experience. OK, went to the drive-through today just about an hour ago and ordered two tacos with extra sauce for lettuce. Or onion rings. I really don't expect much from Jack-in-the-Box places I don't which is truly sad but oh well. In the end, I got two tacos that may have been sitting there for quite some time, I only ate a half and threw the other away. They stuffed my taco with more lettuce and sauce and the shell was just hard as a rock. Cold no joke I was tempted to go back. But I'm always wondering what people will do to my food when I complain. The onion rings were overcooked burnt. If you will taste like they haven't changed in a while. I could literally taste the fish still when they fry fish in there. Threw that away. Past month I've been told at drive thru speaker box "Come back in an hour we are too backed up with delivery orders." If you want to be an online and delivery order only close the drive thru or have the moxy to tell us go elsewhere we got better customers than you willing to pay delivery fees and we like giving up business to the McDonalds on Hayden and McDowell, Scottsdale Road and Thomas or Indian School and Hayden, The Dairy Queen on Oak and Scottsdale Road, Sonic on Thomas and Hayden, Burger King Thomas and 68th Street all would be more happy to do business with you over this Jack in the Box location. But if you must have Jack in the Box the Scottsdale Road and Curry is the only one close interested in in person and drive up customers. read more

Waited in line for an hour and a half on Christmas Eve. Food was ice cold when I got it, soda (Coke) was basically all water and ice, and they forgot an item from my receipt and claimed I lied and it never rang up (even though I showed them on the receipt). Please, if you get backed up like this to where cars are in the street and you cannot handle orders after 10mins per each car - just close down for the night or until you get more staff on. I've been here before Christmas Eve and it was pretty below average for a Jack N Box, with same wait time issue. Is it all JIB's??? Or just this one??? This is the closest fast food joint to my house that I have lived in for 25 years. Although I am not a Big fast food guy, I would have to say I may have visited this JIB over a hundred times, that's 4 times a year for 25 years. Who am I kidding its probably more like 200 times. I would never hold things and quality from past years and decades for this review, this is based solely on the last few visits I have had. When entering this unit you have to pass by a large patio with more then a dozen tables out front. This should be a nice feature as most fast food patios are now long gone. However this patio is so poorly kept. There is always debris on the ground and I am not exaggerating the fact that the table tops are always FILTHY DIRTY!!! Like days of road grime and spilled soda and ranch each and every time I visit. The inside lobby is always in better shape, and dining inside gives me a chance to catch up on world issues from the old guys that might just live there at that same table. Quite often The Freestyle soda kiosk is either out of ice or product and when a small drink cost 3 bucks with tax, this shouldn't be an inconvenience to customers. Speaking of prices!!!! WOW this has to be the most expencive JIB in the country! Come on Guy's it's South Scottsdale not Scottsdale! most of the dozen or so deluxe burgers are $6.00 or more, that's without a $3.00 drink let alone frys. I also know there is no way in heck the patty of meat on The Jumbo Jack is 1/4 pound, no way no how! its so small and thin, but its also the cheapest burger at almost $4 We all crave JIB from time to time but I had to share why I walked out of this JIB today without ordering! read more

My husband and I came here the other night for a late night snack, the drive thru line was so long - everyone has the same idea as us. The person who had taken our order didn't seem very nice but got our order right. The line went through quickly which was nice, our milkshakes were well made, we had also ordered one of the 3$ fry boxes - which looks nothing like the photo (obviously) but was so disappointing when we opened the box it came in. I order at the drive-thru this morning a small Strawberry Banana Smoothie. "That will be $3.xx, please pull up to the window." SWEET!!! I'm getting my breakfast smoothie!! I get to the window and am told. Its not ready. It will be in 15 minutes. I say thanks and drive off . SERIOUSLY!??! Jack-in-the-Box part two. Arrived at 12:05 PM and there were 11 cars in the drive thru, so I parked and walked in. Eight people waiting for their orders and two in line. The manager, again, taking orders. As I walked to the counter, my shoes stuck to the floor. Nasty! I ordered two burgers and two fries (a coworker was with me) and my order arrived in 15 minutes. So much for 'fast' food. As I'm waiting, the manager yells out "Okay, no more breaks or lunches for anyone!". Not professional. On to the food: tough to screw up fries but they sat for 10 minutes waiting for the burgers. Too bad. The burgers were okay but mine had three jalapeños on it, which was very disappointing.
