Very friendly and nice when answering questions of constant "what flavor is that?" "Oh! What's in that??" They're always welcoming and patient. I never feel rushed and I appreciate that. They always say hello and ask how you're doing. The donuts are tasty but I'm more of a croissant kind of girl. They're massive and extremely affordable. Delicious. They also took the meat (bacon or sausage) off for me so I could have a vegetarian croissant. (Sometimes ya girl just doesn't want meat for breakfast). And it was a solid 10/10! They warm the sandwiches up before you go! Eat the food while it's hot, get there early, and support local! Thank you Honey Donuts. I've only been here twice so far but it's my favorite breakfast spot in town!

It was about 15min from the freeway, but at 4stars, I was intrigued. 530am dinner was closed. Wtf?! Ahhh drive through is open. Polite gentleman came to the door. I asked for a mixed dozen. Couple minutes, order was ready. I asked for an apple fritter too but Johnny couldn't deliver his oven broke down. He apologized said he would have some tomorrow. No worries, headed to my office. Back on the twenty, I reached over and pulled a donut from the box, took a bite and instantly got taken back to the early 80s. Damn!!! No over saturated fats, no crisco on the roof of my mouth. Croissant Sandwiches are still listed on their menu so I was surprised to find that they no longer serve these per sé, instead offering in its place, their own stuffed croissants. I tried the ham and cheese and unfortunately, it was bland. To call it a croissant is also generous. It had very little lamination, so it was more like a soft dinner roll with no crispy layers. It was also underbaked, so the middle was soggy. Their Kolaches are interesting. I had one with a jalapeño hot dog and it was pretty good, especially with mustard. It wasn't like any Kolache I'd had before so after some quick googling, it seems Southern Kolaches are different! All the ones I've had in the past were round and filled with gravy and minced meats in a flaky dough. These are essentially glorified Pigs in a Blanket, using the same dough as the croissant. My biggest gripe though: Hygiene. One person kept scratching their nose while the other had dirty, black fingernails. And both kept touching the pastries as they explained what they were, no gloves!! Perhaps they were trying to add flavor? TL;DR - Kolaches are decent and good for road trips, if you can stomach the hygiene.
