I wanted to send my daughter some flowers for her birthday but had some difficulty finding someone since I'm out of state. I found Jack Neal Floral on-line and decided to order through them. My daughter sent me a picture when she received them and she was so happy and excited saying they were gorgeous and perfect. Thank you so much for making her day. I also want to state that since she is in a dorm at OU, I know that Jack Neal Floral tried contacting her multiple times on her birthday to deliver the flowers (since they aren't allowed in without access) but due to the fact that my daughter was working all day, never answered or called back so they tried calling her multiple times the following day and she was able to get her flowers. I live in California and my mom is in Ohio. Living where she does it's hard to find someone to deliver flowers to her... Or anything! I've gotten lucky with Jack Neal Floral! So for Mothers Day this year I sent my mom flowers. I didn't know what I wanted so I gave them a price and told them her favorite color is blue and she loves yellow roses. Fast forward to a couple days before they get delivered. This super nice lady named Tasha I believe( I hope I remembered correctly).. Calls me and says we don't deliver out there it's too far. Panic sets in. I said they had before... So conversation ensues and this lady says wait a minute let me ask this one driver we have.. She calls me back and says driver will make it happen. Yay! So when I tell you I called them 2 more times bugging them on mother's day weekend! AND they were nice to me for being annoying! Tasha and her lady answering the phone ( I didn't get her name) are amazing women! So mom got her delivery on Friday and guess what! The driver lives not far from mom! He made it happen! Now that flower arrangement! If I could describe it better than gorgeous I would. My mom loves them. She got her yellow roses and blue flowers and so much more even a couple of Irises I believe. I ordered a peace lily for my friends mothers funeral and she never received the plant. It was back in March. Had I known sooner I would have tried to get to the bottom of it. The florist Jack Neal in Athens Ohio did not take accountability as well as funeral home Jager's Son Athens Ohio . I bought the plant for my friend to have in memory of her mother. My friend also said a friend also ordered plant from Jack Neal Florist in Athens Ohio for her mother's funeral and my friend did not receive it as well. I would not order from them ever again. I contacted Jack Neal Floral Athens Ohio and they confirmed getting the order and that it was paid for and was sent out, but they stated once it leaves their business they will not take accountability. I also called Jager's Son funeral home in Athens Ohio and they basically said the same thing. Not what I was hoping for,it's not really the money lost but kinda is , I wanted it for my friend as a memory for her mother. I needed to send a floral arrangement from out of town to a family friend on the passing of her husband. I was short on time - my fault entirely - and wanted to get the arrangement to my friend in time for the funeral and visiting hours at her home afterward. I spoke with a wonderful, wonderful employee (Jackie, I think?) who checked with her boss about speedy delivery and was able to get my arrangement there in less than a few hours! We discussed the attached card in detail and I was very pleased with the picture my mom sent of the arrangement. My friend even sent a thank you card stating that my flowers from Jack Neal were the nicest, and stayed fresh the longest so it helped her to have that small beautiful thing. I needed to send an arrangement for a funeral of a friend's spouse in Athens, Ohio and this florist was recommended to me by the funeral home there. BE CAREFUL!!! I called in my order and told them what I wanted (a peace lily), they said $50 lily. My friend sent me a picture of a plant thanking me, it was a mixed leaf plant with 4 ugly carnations with LONG stems sticking up!!!! MAYBE $30 plant!!! DO NOT use jack neal floral! Horrible delivery service for both times that i have used them. I will not be returning after this time. I placed an order for valentines day 9 days in advance to my girlfriends, which is within a mile of their store, and they did not even send the flowers to delivery until after 5! By then my girlfriend was no longer at home and went away for the weekend. The other time they delivered the flowers after 5 as well! Their store hours are 9-5 and they couldn't even get my order to her on time which has ruined my present to her.
