UPDATE - READ FOR IMPORTANT INFO This outfit painted my mother-in-law's exterior and a few weeks later, painted my interior. It was so stressful having them in my home that I couldn't sleep, here's why: --no dropcloths --no covering on your floors, your cabinets, your countertops, nothing. --no masking --paint cans placed directly on your furniture and countertops without anything underneath them --painters walk on your kitchen countertops in the same shoes they wear outside and all day (such as in the bathroom when urinating or in your yard), without covering your counters, at all --dripping paint running down the walls all over the house that would dry that way (in globs) if I hadn't walked all over and pointed it out. I ended up missing some and now have paint globs in various places, completely dried --pieces of brush (loose hairs) dried onto the walls --chunks of areas missing paint (I had to mark many places they missed altogether) --deep brushmarks left around every light switch because they didn't roll around them and used brush instead. Old color is even bleeding through. They handed me a roll of tape and asked me to mark problem areas and then afterward told me that I was micromanaging them and threatened to walk off the job. (After the stressful list shown above and handing me tape to mark problem, how dare they accuse me of micromanaging.) I was so stressed out having to point out the many problems and watching the guys walk all over my food prep areas in their street shoes (while keeping my mouth shut) I thought I'd have a heart attack. The bedside manner started out OK but devolved. They were also late pretty much every day they came over (sometimes hours late) and one day, a crew member showed up on time and the owner texted me to cancel an hour later until I told him one of his guys was already there waiting, so then he decided to come after all. This was so stressful, I wouldn't work with them again. I'm going to have to go all over to remove the dried on brush hairs, remaining paint drips and brush marks around all of my switch plates, not to mention the paint drops left on my concrete walkway outside and on some of my indoor fixtures that they didn't see and remove before they left. I had a 10am appt so at 950 I texted the gate code and parking instructions. He texted back saying he had an emergency and moved it to 1pm. He arrived at 2pm and texted for gate code. I gave it and he pulled into a reserved parking space. I had him move his vehicle. He came in reeking of alcohol and insisted my ceilings did not need to be painted even as I stated I wanted them done. He gave a price verbally,nothing in writing and no business card. He did not introduce himself other than to give company name. I would not recommend this guy for anything! He can't follow text instructions and the booze smell was overwhelming. This guy is bringing your company down. You lost my business and I will be an adverse advertisement for this company. read more

Jack was quick to communicate with me on our exterior home painting project. Know that i am someone who swears by Yelp and I source all of the professionals i need for home projects from here. I've never been let down. And I wasn't this time. I have a large travertine patio that was not sealed when installed, and was a magnet for dirt, dust, and everything else that floats through this desert air; not to mention the residue from big plant pots. Reached out for quotes from several businesses and decided on Jack of All Paints. Edmund arrived when he said he would, and got right to it. In just a few hours I had a clean sealed patio that looked almost new again! just wanted to give a shout out... i just had the exterior of my house painted by jack of all paint, they did a great job. They literally just finished today. They came out within a couple of weeks of contacting them and finished the job in 2 days. They were very nice, professional, cleaned up their mess after and left no trace of even being here. They helped me with some indecisiveness but in the end listened and delivered what I wanted. My 1970's house looks updated and I love it. Thank you! read more

They came and painted my house and I found plenty of area they need to touch up on. When I contacted them, no reply! He replied with sure when I asked to come take a look at all the messed up areas finally and then have ghosted me since then. Will never want anyone to go through them. I'm going to end up getting fined by my HOA because of their lousy job. They also took over 4 days to paint a house, while my other houses were painted by other companies in a day. read more

I do not recommend this company. They are not punctual or reliable. The guys on the crew are kind and work hard but the owner Jack is rather arrogant and has an attitude problem. He left my jobsite a mess and pretty much sabotaged himself when he came back to fix the texture on my walls in a powder/bathroom and slapped mud on them and told my homeowner it was ready for prime. I have not heard from him since and I terminated his contract. What should have taken a week( and a half, due to some framing issues) took 3 weeks to not even be ready for paint.... I am seriously disappointed. read more

I called Jack after my scheduled painter was a no show. He sent someone out that afternoon to get started. Joe was professional, not just on time but early, polite, mannerable, and very friendly. He took great care to make sure everything was covered since I just had the master bath remodeled (why the remodeler didn't paint is another nightmare). He finished the job and had me and my mother inspect it to make sure we were satisfied. We were extremely pleased. I will be calling Jack for all of my painting needs.
