The restaurant was amazing, had an old Pac-Man the kids could play free. I also loved the art they have for sale displayed all over! The servers were so attentive and kind! There were a lot of gluten free options, including onion rings! They tasted great when I first ate them, but my stomach started hurting soon after. This could be because greasy stuff will do this to me. The prices were not the same as the kids menu showed, but the waitress changed them for me. It's a diner style place but the art makes it more comfortable and homey.

Our food was absolutely delicious. It was our first visit but will certainly not be our last if passing through this area! Friendly staff, prompt service and the food was fresh, real fries that were light and crispy and soft inside; same with the sweet potato fries and onion rings, not oily or greasy. Sprat rolls and chili sauce and coconut club were perfectly made as well as the burger and rice and beans.. Unique decor. Our experience there was amazing. Highly recommend!

Pulled pork nachos. The pork is flavorful and tender. The avocado and pico add a fresh snap. I had to take almost half home. It's that big.

Great food and amazing service as usual. We ordered the coconut shrimp and shared it between the three of us. It's the perfect app. The dipping saucy is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. There was music playing in the background. Not too loud and good choices. The prices are reasonable, though on the high side for more right now I fear. It's well worth it though.

Another Delicious Meal and Great Experience @ Jack Sprats in Cottage Grove, OR. !! We were craving breakfast, but after the first bite, we're glad we showed up at 12 noon to try their lunch menu because it was oh sooo good! We cleaned our plates!! The meals were mouthwatering delicious and their homemade pickles, slaw, fries, onion rings were amazing! The service was exceptional and we felt seen and heard throughout our time here. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. Thank you so much!!

Do they sell beyond burgers or impossible burgers? i don't see too many vegan options on the menu

Yes: they only use gluten free breads and most of the food has a broccoli vegetable base.

Are all the deserts always gluten free? Seemed that way the one time we've been in.

The desserts are mostly gluten free but not always.

We went there as a group and ordered grilled cheese from the kids menu for the little ones. The food came out maybe an hour later and it literally looked like they just put slices of cheese on bread. No grill. Nothing. The best part was when I went to the bar area to ask them to actually grill it..... a RAT ran under my feet and quickly ran behind the bar. It was unbelievable.

Not much flavor to my burger at all. The salad was pretty good as it had a lot of toppings but when I asked for tomatoes, they said they didn't have tomatoes. And not just ran out for the day. They don't have tomatoes at all! That was baffling to me and quite a disappointment. Drinks were okay. But they had a large selection of liquor and I appreciated the break down of what they offered on the drink menu. The rest of the old building was very unsettling. There was only 1-2 other tables and maybe a guy at the bar at the time and the vibes felt very unnerving. Hubby went to the bathroom and said it felt super weird and creepy. It was enough to convince me to hold it until we got home. I'm sure its a cool venue when theres music and more people but this time, it didn't win me over.

That being said, the food I got was not very good. I guess I overestimated what an Asian rice bowl coming from a pub in a small town would be like, but it was much too sweet, salty, and overly sauced to the point where it was like eating a bowl of wet rice. I am not a picky person and will usually eat things that aren't my favorite for the sake of not wasting food, but I really struggled with this. I hate writing bad reviews because I know owning a restaurant is hard, but that is my honest opinion about the food. Warning: if you have dogs, there is a huge vine of grapes attached to the fence of the outdoor seating area out front. We moved to a dingy side area to avoid the possibility of our dogs eating a grape. There were cobwebs under the table and a man walked around us to spray pesticides on the weeds in the concrete, while we were eating and while our dogs were standing there. There was a dog water bowl near where he was spraying that we stayed far away from. Service was fine, but overall, a meh experience.

Draper is an excellent brewery in my mind. The beers are experimental and creative with their beers making some pretty unusual beers that taste great! We have had three of their beers so far on two separate occasions and both times the beers were very impressive and enjoyable! One of the beers we had was the Thumb Ring. A Wild Ale that was excellent. It was aged on peaches, blackberries and coconut. Flavors featured with this beer are tartness, peachy, cherry and a hint of purposeful mustiness. Wit Bat was another beer we had. Also a Wild Ale this beer was wonderful also! Flavors to find with this Ale are tartness and jam like. The jam like qualities come from the marionberries and the Coriander brings it an extra depth. A very effervescent and elegant Ale. The third beer we had was the Earl of Tenmile. This was a Sour Ale with flavors of tart, sour, some sweetness and a clean finish. It is a blend of two and four year spontaneously fermented Ales. Such great beers and ales Draper has to offer and I would love to continue to explore with more of their beverage options which I hope would be in the near future.
