The waiters and waitresses seem very formal. There is a waiting space for customers that looks really nice. There are pictures of famous people who ate at this place. The atmosphere is nice and bright. The food we (2 people) ordered were 2 dishes of Dim Sum and Pecking duck. One was still frozen. So we asked them to change it to a proper hot one. We were a bit shocked because it seemed like they serve us frozen food. We didn't expect that this kind of restaurant and with this high price would be from frozen food. The other dish was not bad though. We did like it. The Pecking duck we ordered were for two people. At this place you have to order at least for two people for the Pecking duck. It came also with clear duck soup (without meat) and we could choose what to do with the duck meat: either stir fry with vegetables or with orange. For this dish we waited for a long time probably around half and hour. There was only one person who sliced the duck and he did it for each table one by one right at the dining table. It looked interesting to see how he did it. But I'd actually prefer to have it sliced from the kitchen if I had to wait for that long. The duck skin was really good and crispy. The sauce was okay but I didn't like the rice cake that came in the set. It's too dry. For the duck meat dish, we chose the one with vegetables. This one was yummy. The service was friendly but very slow. The price was too expensive for this kind of quality of food.

Attractive, friendly, and competent people. I started with the absolutely delicious Ping Pong cocktail, a mix of lychee and passion fruit purées with gin. Wow was that a great drink! I had two. Next I started with three Guillardeaux oysters. They were so plump and sweet. Astounding, actually. I could have made a meal of these if not so expensive (€3.50 each). I also tried a small croquette of Roquefort and spinach that was everything a croquette should be. Next up was an amazing Thai fish cake. It was crunchy and tender and mildly spicy with a nice hit of fresh coriander. It was a starter that I was sad to see disappear so quickly. It's a taste I want to experience again. My main course was a tiradito of local seafood. It's basically a ceviche but they amped up the flavor with a Thai-inspired marinade. The shellfish were amazingly sweet and tender and played well with that sauce. A very generous portion, too. I finished with dessert, a small disc of cheesecake topped with both a caramel sauce and berry purée. Neither was overly sweet. This place does it damn well! The prominent lemongrass flavor balanced by other Thai essences (I'm guessing ginger/cilantro root/chilis) was masterfully done, with a very bold overall taste profile (paralleling that of jamon). My favorite. We ordered the seasonal deep fried thai fish as a main, which was seabass when we were there. At 19 Euros for the market rate, it was fair. The whole fish was deep fried to a crisp, rendering the smaller bones edible. Served in a lovely thai sauce (similar to the fishcakes) and smothered with spring onions and chilis. Lastly, the dessert was truly memorable: pumpkin flan with chunks of chili infused apricot, topped with a whipped requeson cheese cream and caramelized and crispy pumpkin seeds!
