Had the most delicious Coffee! The Brullecino. Unfortunately, they have the service experience of day care children so I recommend only getting a coffee. I watched my clock from the time of my receipt. I waited 38 minutes before leaving after ordering the "Jacks Special" which was toast, two eggs and I think bacon. IT WAS NOT BUSY THERE WERE 3 OTHER TABLES CLEARLY WAITING A MILLENNIA FOR THE SLOWEST MORNING KITCHEN IN BUFFALO. Dont have the patience for a "cafe" like this but oh well. I don't know who prepared my to-go order today but they did a fantastic job. Usually the sandwich comes wrapped in paper but today it was put in a box with the hash browns. The guy at the counter was super nice and didn't make my coffee until I got there so it wouldn't get cold. You can tell he likes his job and a lot of care is put into making the food. If you want faster service go to a fast food chain. You're paying for high quality ingredients and how food is supposed to be prepared. Really cute spot! They even had a small section with kids toys. Indoor seating was comfortable and there were also a few tables and seats outdoor. Everyone was very attentive! They really went above and beyond in service. The hash browns were nice and crispy. I got an omelette with spinach, cheddar and onions. This is a nice addition to Buffalo to have as an option since there are not many breakfast cafes in the area. I think the service was decent and there were plenty of seats in the cafe. My one complaint is that the WiFi is awful and often disconnects you. Also, the cafe has very limited outlets for you to charge a device. Since most people come here to get work done, you can see how this is an issue. A simple fix could be to add a plug with multiple outlets connected to it. Breakfast burrito was delicious but latte was very middle of the road, you can tell they do not use a barista oatmilk which would really improve the quality of the latte. However, they aren't trying to claim to be a craft coffee shop so I'm sure this type of milk they are using fits their current brand/needs. I don't think I would return here to get work done, but definitely would return in the future to meet up friends for a quick breakfast. Jack's is a great addition to Buffalo which is full of great restaurants but short of quality breakfast and lunch options. The coffee was outstanding, I had an Americano. The Avocado BLT was fabulous. We took home some corn chowder it sounded so good. I look forward to sampling the rest of their menu. read more

I just had a very good meal at Jacks. Since they offer nothing gluten free on their menu, I ordered the avocado toast without the bread. It was served on a nice bed of greens with the avocado, egg, roasted red pepper and a delicious balsamic dressing. All ingredients were very fresh and well presented. One of the best breakfast spots in town. Avocado toast is excellent (comes with hard boiled egg!). Breakfast burrito is loaded with pico de gallo and avocado. I still really like the quality of the food and coffee at this place, and the staff is friendly. The only thing is they consistently take forever with something and I often don't get to enjoy the meal altogether. Like today the sandwich came out really fast, but the barista stopped to do something else in the back for 15 mins while there were no other customers, and showed no signs of stopping lol. Another barista finally came up as I went to ask about the coffee. So I didn't get to drink the coffee alongside the sandwich. He also forgot to refill the water after I asked at the beginning, or at least it still wasn't done after 25mins. Eventually I just gave up and went home. Other times I've gotten the coffee fast but have finished the whole thing (or let the second half get cold) before the meal came out. Again great quality, just annoyingly slow service/timing on some part of the meal. read more

Overpriced and bad quality. Been to this place once before. The owner has been in a foul mood both times and was especially rude. Asked a question about the bread options and she said they were out of certain types of bread and only had rolls. My mom asked another question and she proceeded to say "I just answered that!" I stumbled upon this great little cafe when I went to renew my passport (couple doors down). I needed change for the parking meter and the owner was super nice and helped me download the app to pay for parking! Coffee and blueberry muffins are to die for. The music was blasting (8:20am) so much that the counter person couldn't hear my order, the female person I assume is the owner was rude (except to the police who were in there for morning break) and lacked any welcoming skill. My husband and I traveled over 7 hours one way for a special passport appointment a few doors away from Jack's Corner Cafe. Thankfully, we saw someone sitting outside at one of their tables on the corner, so we walked over to grab coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed Jack's in the morning and then returned in the afternoon for a follow up. They have mad people, coffee, and food skills. Wish we had a Jack's Corner Cafe in our Maryland neighborhood.
