Good local pizza spot! Beer was cold and nice to be able to watch the ball games and even had a Jukebox!

I always order for pick up so I can't speak for delivery or eating inside but ever since I've been ordering here (over a year and half now) it's become my new favorite pizza spot. It's not very pricey like every other pizza place and is always on point every single time when it comes to taste! Visiting Jacks Pizza always provides a comfortable, happy, and friendly environment! When ordering at the cashier, we are kindly greeted by all employees whether or not they were directly helping us. We sat down at clean tables and organized spaces! The staff is always friendly when giving us our order and when we ask for more items (Such as ranch, croutons, etc.) Though, asking for more wasn't an issue, as they provided extra ranches and other items needed to feel satisfied during our amazing experience. They always stock lids, straws, and clean the drink area efficiently, giving us refreshing beverages to sip while eating our delicious pizza! The food was a wonderful aspect in itself! Combo pizza was stuffed with sausage, bell peppers, and so much delicious cheese! The calzone looked and tasted absolutely flavorful! Fresh tasting dough, crispy olives, and again... CHEESE! :) They offered us mouthwatering jalapeño poppers and it was a spectacular decision to make! So creamy and sweet! The place is dirty. I was not surprised to see they got a 60/100 on their last inspection. Gross. I will not ever be going back. I heard their lunch buffet used to be really good, but I went in last week to one pineapple pizza and a sad salad bar with clearly mushy rotting cucumbers. Waited over 20 minutes for another pizza to come out- a veggie with mushrooms, onions, peppers, olives, tomatoes. I don't mind, but a LOT of people don't like one or all of those things. Was not worth the wait. Their dough is clearly a premade commercial product. Think little ceasars type quality. They should really keep at least a pepperoni and a cheese out, but they don't seem to care at all about the customer experience. read more

WOW WOW WOW this is the place to go. We ordered appetizers (jalapeño peppers, cheese bread) combination, pepperoni pizza, vegetarian calzone and two salads. The service was wonderful they always checked up on us to make sure everything was going well. They weren't shy on the ranch either which is a usual problem with most restaurants but they came through. Also with the salads came multiple bags of croutons so we were able to have extra. They also have arcade games (claw machine, guitar hero, and air hockey) that are great to occupy the kids. Overall this place has a very relaxing environment. Took a chance going back to Jack's after noticing they have a new owner. When I called in the order, I specifically requested minimal onions and bell pepper on a combo pizza. Well, there was tons of 2 different onions on the combination pizza!!!! As for the bell peppers it was a normal amount. Upon ordering it I repeated my request twice and it was read back to me as such. Don't know where the break down happened. But I will say the pizza was pretty good except for the excessive onions. read more

Just stopped back in hopes for a better dining experience and was sadly let down again. Asked for one salad bar and one drink when she read the order back she said 10.83 but that was for 2 drinks. I love their pizza buffet. They have a good selection. The food is always fresh and yummy. The pizza crust is always baked to perfection. I just moved here from the bay area an was looking for a good pizza place. Normally I don't leave reviews, but I feel that this could genuinely help the business. Came in for the buffet, and they had 3 pizzas out- 2 were pineapple, the other combination. We then asked for a specialty pizza, which they brought to another table that had kids, by the time it was set down there was 3 pieces left. I guess the point here is: Always have at least a pepperoni, take out the pizzas that have been up there for 30+ minutes, keep on making pizzas if there are people that keep coming in, and don't only put out pizzas with pineapple. read more

Okay, first I need to say that Jack's became my "go-to" place for Pizza in Manteca. Although we have or share of chain Pizza joints, Jacks seem to have (had) a good quality pizza at a reasonable price. Well, this last experience left a bad taste in my mouth, literally, and has me question the integrity if this restaurant. I placed my order on-line and arrived in the time that my pizza was supposed to be done. I was greeted by the owner and gave her my name for the order. When she retrieved the pizza she hesitated momentarily and shook the pizza box. Being just on the other side of the counter, this was in my full view and close enough to where I could here the pizza slide inside the box. We spoke pleasantly for a moment while I signed for it and I left without looking at it to make sure it was correct (never had that issue so didn't think about it at the time). When I got home and opened he box my wife commented about the crust looking different. I didn't really give it any thought because we were all "hangry" and ready to eat.... Well, This was nothing like the normal pizza we would get from them. The pepperoni looked dry, the cheese was not stringy or as thick as usual, the dough was stiff and crunchy. it just didn't look fresh like some of the pictures shared here. Definitely didn't taste fresh. It was horrible! Not saying it happened, but it seems as if they put a competitors less appealing pizza in their box... NAHHHH! No one in their right mind would do that, right?.. Right??!!! All I know is the entire experience seemed out of the ordinary. But because it happened, I'll definitely think twice about returning to Jack's. I hope this was just a bad night and a singled out experience, just not sure if I will to give them another try and find out. read more

Came to jacks pizza with my husband last night and besides waiting for a long time for our food we began to look at the cheese and notice that stuff was in it asides from that we found hair and mold in the cheese. The lady then brushed it off like it was nothing and tried bringing us New cheese from the fridge. We proceed to leave and requested our money back so now just waiting for them to refund our card. Well my friends, I am so sad to say that I will not be returning to this place unfortunately. after a few weeks of moving into town this place quickly became our favorite pizza place. We order, regularly, a Hawaiian BBQ Pizza, every time. with a pretty short wait period we always end up with a good pizza... until tonight.. we ordered our regular, Hawaiian BBQ pizza and waited 25 min this time, which is ok, but we ended up with a pizza with red sauce, FINE I can deal.. BUT THE RAW DOUGH hiding under the ginormous of cheese (normally I wouldn't be annoyed by this but..) so I called.. I was not rude, but I did explain why I was calling to complain, she proceeded To try to argue with me about what type of sauce I did or not order, I had to reiterate that the sauce at this point was irrelevant and that I was more upset with the fact that my pizza was still uncooked and we waited 25 min, she was not rude or accommodating.. if you return the pizza I'll make you a new one... declined For a new pizza and will not be returning due to poor customer service and served RAW pizza. you go jacks. read more

This place was our fav. But they have new management everything went downhill and the daughter of the owner is a B%$^^...we are a car club that has been coming to this restaurant and parking for many years we would eat at the different places and just hang out with family and she was on her high horse telling us we need to leave we r not welcomed. Long story short cops were called the cops know us and said he cant do anything about us being there we were not causing a disturbance. But she still wanted out she was going to call tow trucks...smh...our young kids were there...this lady was a piece of work...we never go to any of these stores anymore...that whole plaza is dying anyway. I even have a article in the manteca bulletin about this experience..we have a better place to take our old cars.. read more
