I arranged my schedule and made a special trip to Liberty Tax Service in Windsor Heights to have my personal taxes prepared along with the taxes for my small business. But much to my surprise, I was turned away. Why? Because no one within the company, with the exception of the owner, who works out of their East 14th Street location, possesses any knowledge on preparing taxes for a small business. Really? Really. The customer service rep handed me a business card with the East 14th telephone number and instructed me to call the owner there. Personally, I think the the rep should have taken down my number and arranged the call from the owner. Isn't that customer service? Upon arriving back at my office, I promptly called the East 14th location, but was unable to speak with the owner (he was busy). So, I left my name and telephone number with the receptionist and waited for a callback. And waited. And waited. That was several weeks ago. And I'm still waiting for the owner of the company to return my call...
