I went to the H&R Block office on 4403 Queens Blvd In Sunnyside, NY 11104. Ju Young Kim graciously gave me a seat and finished my Federal and NY State filings in about 30 minutes. She actually found a larger refund for me than I received last year, and she made the whole process incredibly easy. She also used a coupon to give me a discount on the preparation fee. I was so happy. I wish I had started using H&R Block years ago. I will definitely be back and ask for Ms. Kim to take care of me. She was so nice, so professional and so efficient. H&R Block made an error on my 2019 tax return. I caught the error the day of but due to C19 the error could not be rectified on the spot. I called up H&R Block and notified them the day of about the error they made. They could not correct the issue because they had already sent my tax package forward. Little did I know how much of a headache this would be. I completely lost out on my state taxes due to their error and i am still paying penalties due to Govt delays. I made contact with H&R Block about the issue and they refuse to rectify the issue due to me losing my 2019 tax package. It's even on file that I had peace of mind and they made the error but they refuse to help me. I would not recommend this business. They steal your money and they are incompetent.

We used this company to prepare our 2018 and 2019 taxes. The first year we were satisfied. In…read more2020 we moved out of state but decided to stick with this firm. We packaged all the required documents and made a copy for ourselves. Our taxes were filed and even though we paid quarterly we still owed, no problem. Then I received a notice that my Marketplace insurance 1095 form was not submitted with our returns, I notified the CPA firm and they asked that I send a copy of the letter and the missing document to them to submit. They already had the form in their possession but had returned my original documents to me. I was annoyed because we paid $465.00 to them to accurately submit our returns. I also sent the documentation to the IRA because now my confidence was shaky. Last month, we received another letter from the IRS that the return was incorrect and we were now owed monies, which they sent. Now we are really mad because we were clearly audited by the IRS to see that our returns were wrong. I have left Robert Clothier 2 phone messages and an email wanting an apology, explanation or anything and also said that they clearly messed up our returns and a partial refund would be the least they could do. We have not heard word one from them. I I called at warn others that I know that use him and found that their returns were also submitted incomplete. The least I would expect is an apology and explanation. Two mistakes on one simple return is two too many. Beware this guy may have been good previously but he is dropping the ball big time. Don't use them unless you like the IRS reaching out to you.
