He said he saw no signs of Fuch's Corneal Syndrome or even Macular Degeneration! What a great visit! The other 3 professionals (over 7 years) must have been wrong! This year, however, I decided to go to a different place (Southern Eye Associates, which I HIGHLY recommend), and I DO still have Macular Degeneration and Fuch's AND I'm showing the beginning stages of cataracs. If Dr. Inboden hadn't told me I didn't have those conditions, I would have continued my Preservision Vitamins and the special eye drops, but I didn't. And now the conditions are worse. So choose your eye care professional carefully and don't go to Dr. Inboden. Also, the office experience was okay, but the glasses were incredibly expensive (I ended up buying for 1/6th the price through Zenni Optical online) and I had a lot of trouble reaching out to them for an appointment. Also, they never returned my call this year (thankfully).

I did everything online, but you also have the paper option. The process was really smooth. Once you make your appointment, they send out various reminder text to keep you updated and reminded about your appointment. One the day of, you fill out the demographic and health history form (which was a breeze). They checked me in and took me to the back quickly. I had a thorough screening. The doctor is very smart and have advanced technology. When I was done, the tech took me to the front and help me pick out glasses that best suited my preference. I enjoyed my experience. Hubby and I have found the right place for us.

The midtown eye care clinic was decently close to my home and Dr.Powelson had great reviews. So I bit the bullet and decided to schedule an appointment. The staff was very courteous and the doctor was phenomenal. As I've mentioned to him at my appointment, this has been the more extensive and helpful appointment I've ever had with an optometrist. We even slightly discussed lasik (we would have discussed it more but at the time I am not a candidate for it). Dr.Powelson actually teaches how to perform lasik at the school in town as well. So if you're looking into that option, or looking for anything pertaining to your optometry needs, I absolutely recommend going to Midtown Eye Care and seeing Dr.Powelson. They also had a decent selection of eyeglass frames in the clinic. Brands such as Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren, Oakley, Ray Ban, Lacoste, Sketchers, amongst others. Prices were beyond reasonable. Instead of going through the eye dilation situation that everyone hates about optometry visits, they have this new machine where you put your eye towards a lens and use your face to press into it until you change the blue light in the lens to green and it scans a photo of the back of your eye. It does cost extra, but it is very affordable and your eye scans get stored in their database. Midtown Eye Care also fits and makes lenses on location, although some insurances do require them to send the frames out to their own lab and the lenses be made and fit there and then they'd send it back to the optometry clinic and you go pick them up. I would recommend this place over and over again. This time, I'm actually looking forward to my next optometry visit.

He performed my cataract surgery three years ago and what a difference!! I had no problems, and my vision is so improved! Dr. Little and his staff, the nurses, the optometrist, scheduling of appointments, seeing Dr. Little for a sudden flair up of my ocular rosacea have always been addressed quickly. The staff is incredibly professional and kind. Everyone I encountered went above & beyond to take the best care of me in their office. The office is impeccably clean & beautifully decorated.
