With it already being close to 12pm, we couldn't find a spot in the area to have lunch. We tried 3 different places and they all had over an hour of waiting time. We found Jacob's Juice not because it was the last option, but because we wanted something lighter, so we could eat more Dutch food, since we only had 1 day.
We walked in and looked at the different varieties of smoothies and drinks that they had. They even had a couple of sandwiches. We went with a Mango smoothie, a Ginger/Apple/Lemon shot and a couple of Farmer's Cheese grilled cheese sandwiches. The Mango smoothie was great! It was made with not only mango, but with orange and a little cardamom. I got the ginger shot, because ginger is supposedly good for you. Maybe, but it burned a little going down. The taste was good, though, albeit a tad spicy because of the ginger. The sandwich was definitely a hit with all of us. The cheese stole the show as you could tell it was definitely good quality.
Don't be afraid to give Jacob's Juice a try, whether you eat before or after.
Lastly, the guy that works there is not Jacob. It's basically because of the street it's on. Don't be the idiot like me that says, "Thanks, Jacob!" read more
