I deposited a check for 1000.00 dollars written from my husbands credit union account I was told the funds would be available within 24 hours as of midnight . I checked my account first thing in the morning just to see the account still pending ! After several phone calls and speaking to Alberto the branch manager, Tosha, Alison customer service manager and leaving a message for Glen Shtjesmi with no call back they all said the were very sorry but the funds would not be available for 7 DAYS. I am unable to access MY money and now unable to get to Chemotherapy tomorrow? There is no regard to the fact that I was told 24 hours for a hold more than once the excuse is at the branch level they do not know how long a check will be held. REALLY???? Please do NOT bank with this company! I will be removing my money as soon as they release it from being held hostage and close the account. I will also report them to the better business bureau and channel 4 news to expose the shenanigans practices by Huntington Banks.
