We wanted to try wines from local areas and were not very familiar with the local wines. She helped us decided by asking us about what we liked. When we realized we didn't have a bottle opener with us she came to our rescue by uncorking the bottle and giving us a cork stopper. A gorgeous wine shop in Neuhausen. I happened to walk by this place whilst exploring the area and…read moredecided to check it out. It's owned by a French lady that lived in Munich for a long time and has had this shop for just over a year. She previously operated from a much smaller premise down the road. This shop has a lot of wine from around Europe at a reasonable price. There is also a wide range of liqueurs and schnapps on tap and a small selection of fine goods and aperitif and liquor from around Europe. The lady who owns the place is very helpful and friendly and explained a lot about the wine. Coming from the Alsace region she has had a long history with wine and was specially passionate about French wine (which I fully expected). They also had a nice selection of Rose wine which is not commonly seen in wine shops. I ended up buying some nice Rose wine and she also poured me a glass of fabulous Sancerre for free (a very nice gesture). There are some tables in here and you get a selection of drinks and sometimes there is cakes and snacks as well. All in all a lovely shopping experience and I will definitely go back here.
