I have suffered from back and neck problems for many years and having recently (Christmas Eve) done my back in again, and not having a Chriopractor in Dublin, I bought a deal from Groupon/CityDeal for this business who have two locations in the city. As I could not get an appointment with the Terrenure branch and currently suffering with my back I managed to get an appointment with the one in Blessington Street. The deal was an examination with three follow-up treatments but you had to have the examination first on a separate appointmnent. I made the appointments two weeks prior to the day, and having explained the situation to the receptionist and being keen to being treatment I booked the examination for Wednesday and the first treatment appointment for the next day, Thursday. I have limited time off due to work commitments and had scheduled these appointments as a priority to getting my back sorted. I arrived on time for my appointment on Wednesday and while the receptionist was putting together paperwork for me to fill out I mentioned that I was going to be coming the next day also for my first treatment. I was then informed that the Chiropractor was unavailable the next day and that I 'should have been told' but they were unable to accomodate my first appointment until 8th February, another 2 weeks later (despite my already waiting 3 weeks for the initial appointment). Seriously unprofessional, clearly trying to make as much money as possible while messing people who are in pain around, I have respect for Chiropractors but would advise anyone looking for one to avoid this one at all costs cause if you are in pain and you do have an appointment, it may very well be quite some time before you can schedule your next!

He helps people with all types of ailments from sports injuries to weight issues. He also has great results with infertility and ME patients as well as skin conditions. He also uses cupping for injuries and then offers Chinese herbal tablets to take for the next week or two. I think Dr Wu is really amazing. He has helped me with so many things and I would always recommend him to anybody. Each treatment takes about 40 minutes. There is pay and display parking out the front. He works monday to saturday, but ring to make an appointment before going. It'll be worth it!

I carry all my stress in my back and lately it's just been bothering me all day, I know that it's all mental emotion that a fortnight in the Maldives would solve but alas I have bills to pay. Friday I decided it was time for a deep tissue massage so I called Siobhan and arranged a 45 min session for €45. I've had massages before but with Siobhan she sat down with me before hand to chat about my lifestyle and explain what the massage would entail. I've never had that type of thoroughness, it put my mind at ease and you can really tell that she genuinely cares about her clients and wants them to feel better. As the stress was contained in my back she focused on that area, doing movements that I had never had before such as manipulating my arms and raising my neck, it felt so good. Afterwards she explained that my back is still incredibly tense, which I honestly knew one session would not be enough but I never got the vibe that she was trying to up sell me at all, in fact the opposite she strongly encouraged me to get into yoga and stretch more. Again it's that care and love for what she does that really rubs off on you. I definitely intend to go back again soon, once I get paid.
