If you're expecting good Asian food, lower your expectations. The menu looks great, with a mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean ect, however it didn't appear they know how to actually make it. I was stoked to see Rib Eye Bulgogi, and at $25 it had to be good. If you're not familiar with Bulgogi, it's marinated beef that's sauteed with onions and garlic. Not that hard. What I was served was beef on a pile of RAW onions. Ever had a burger with way too much uncooked onion? It was like that, but for $25. I had to mix my meat with the onions on my plate to try to get some sauce onto the onions. It didn't work well, it was like chewing an onion. I asked the server if that's how they actually intended to serve the Bulgogi and she said, "Yeah, a lot of people have been complaining." Super. They just keep serving beef jerky on a bed of onions at $25. Bonkers. The service was terrible and slow. Ordered a beer, never came. I had to remind the waitress our beverages hadn't come, and she brought waters, but not our beer? I had to ask for an entire place setting, because why would I need utensils to eat? The table was soiled from previous guests as well. Our spicey Salmon roll had avocado and cucumber in it. Neither of those were supposed to be in it. The roll was also not cut in even thickness. Why did I put up with this? Limited options in the casino on a Saturday and the wait for this place was already 45 mintues for a table, and another 45 to get food. Do yourself a favor, eat before you get to the Casino. I've eaten at all of their offerings, and Katie's is the only option where the quality matches the price. read more

As we walked into the casino, my wife and I both scanned over the sushi menu and thought we would try out this new sushi restaurant. So after we played some slots and donated some of our money to the casino we went and ordered some of our favorites rolls. My wife being vegan ordered the cucumber roll and an avacado roll. I ordered the California roll and spicy tuna roll. I wasn't expecting the best sushi but after spending over $40 I did expect some decent rolls. I guess I was wrong to even expect that much. The California roll was filled with the driest crab I have ever had. I had to remove the crab to make it edible. I give the California roll, the easiest roll to make, 1 star. Then I bit into the spicy tuna roll. This was also disappointing. The tuna was fishy and had little to no spice. I give the Spicy tuna roll 2 stars. This restaurant has a ways to go before gaining the attention of taste buds from people who know good sushi. Sadly even Winco sushi has this place beat....for now. read more

Make sure you allow 4 hrs to get a table. Then, once you're seated, expect 30 minutes of no eye contact from any waitress or server. If you can make contact with one of them, she will say and I quote, " This isn't my table assigned. And your waitress is on break I guess." After an afternoon at the slots and allowing them to take our money ;) we needed a good meal to make us feel better. Off we went to JF (our first time). We were greeted and sat by Jessie who was friendly and courteous. The restaurant is small with seating for 10 at the sushi bar and probably another 60 in the main dining. They also have a private room to the side. Our server took a while to greet us, but once she took our order, food came out fairly quickly. We started with Pot Stickers (pork, cabbage, ginger and green onion) and Honey-glazed Walnut Prawns (shrimp, candied walnuts and sesame seeds). The pot stickers were loaded with filling and pan-seared perfectly. The dipping sauce had a hint with sweetness which paired well with the pot stickers. The honey-glazed prawns were one of the best ones I have had (and I have had A LOT). We split an order each of the Salt & Pepper Pork Chops and the Bulgogi Beef. The pork had just the right amount of pepperiness and the beef was spot on! Both dishes came with steamed white rice (a bit dry). Suffice it to say, we had a wonderful meal. Next time we visit (and hopefully, win our money back), we will surely try their hot and sour soup, fried rice, and a few of their entrees. Food and service - A+! read more

Well. I wanted to be happy with this place. I'm very disappointed with the "Sharable Menu." At best this is for one person. We were given one set of chopsticks, one fortune cookie. You'd think rice was included, like other traditional Asian restaurants. You'd be mistaken. There isn't enough food for two people. I'm making rice. So the rest of our meal will be nice and cold when I'm done. What a disappointment. We paid over $50 for this "sharable menu" dinner. I don't recommend and we won't be back. read more

Hi, Decided to give this place a try this past Christmas Ever. We ordered take out that we wanted to bring up to our room. The place was pretty full. There was not much seating. The food was pretty good. I would try it again if in the mood for Chinese. We only ordered two dishes. We honestly were not expecting much being it was in a casino. The only suggestion i have is it would be nice if you could offer some type of plates for people who want to bring it up to their room and eat it. They had plastic silverware but no plates. Unfortunately they changed their menu and don't have very many stir fry's or noodle dishes. The waitress that is always there is awesome and always has been. What I presume to be the manager though was very odd. Hovering around tables and constantly checking if everything was okay like she knew it really wasn't. This used to be one of my favorite places but unfortunately with the options so limited I won't be returning as often. Also I have tried visiting a couple other times in the past month and they were closed when their hours said they were open or only staff one to two waiters so even though they have plenty of open tables they won't seat you. Taste wise, it's a little more on the salty side and I definitely have try places where it's more authentic taste! But nonetheless I bust my meal as u can see in the first pic! Got me licking the dam plate lol! My server name was Wanna I believe and she's really kind and attentive, always filling up our drinks so we don't choke! I do appreciate that! Also I remember the first time I go here I order the red curry chicken katsu which I do recommend! It's delicious for sure and well all things curry are delicious but that dish in particular was heavenly and change my life! Maybe I just order the wrong thing this time but it wasn't as busting as before, but I did bust! Mildly. Safe yourself the time and effort, go to a Safeway deli and you will have better Asian food. I had the Beef Noodle Pho soup and it was disgusting. The broth was overly strong and very salty. Others in my group had the Mongolian beef and Beef Chow Main. The beef was a very cheap version that had no taste. Some of the beef had a rainbow colored tint on it (Gross!). The service was also very poor. After waiting for over an hour for a table our waiter forgot one of the main dishes and my friend had to wait an additional ten minutes to get his food. The restaurant is not very big and has limited tables. We will not be back. This casino is super clean but they desperately need to upgrade their food options. read more

Went back several more times. Brought 7 different guests amongst those visits. 6 of 7 liked the food. The attention to quality has improved a lot since the revised menu came out. We all do miss the more traditional Chinese offerings, though. Sushi choices could still be expanded. But everything is headed in the right direction. I have only ate here twice. Unfortunately there is only one vegetarian dish. Both times I've requested no bok choy and both times I've got tons of bok choy. Besides that good flavor nice service and atmosphere. I do wish there was a few more veggie options & they would let me sub bok choy for more broccoli or a different vegetable. But it doesn't seem to be able to happen. I can hope in the future that they can add a few more vegetable dishes And that they can hold the bok choy. Was very disappointed in the whole experience. We started with a sushi roll, the Seattle Roll, bland, and the serving of fish was laughable for the price of the roll. Ordered Pan Fried Scallops with XO sauce. I have no clue what XO sauce is, but it must mean flavorless. The scallops seemed like they were just defrosted, and never touched a pan. The only redeeming quality the dish had was that the bell peppers and snow peas seemed to be fresh. We also ordered Chicken Pad Thai, which had more tofu than chicken. Flavor was OK. The waitress brought me the receipt she had marked the discount from my players card (I didn't want to use my points) I paid cash and told her to keep the change. Later while playing at a slot machine I saw my points were gone. The waitress paid my meal with points and pocketed the cash. When I confronted the restaurant the manager said there was nothing she could do. She was rude and said her waitress went home sick. Not once have they followed up. Talk about sketchy! We came for a friends birthday and the food here was killer! The staff was super nice and the dishes were very reasonably priced! I appreciate that there were all types of oriental food on the menu from Pho, Chinese, Thai, Sushi and so much more! The deserts were to die for and they didn't rush us out. Nope. Sushi was...weird. Dry, colorless fish flesh, gross fake crab (this is ridiculous; this is the PNW where crab is plentiful and delicious). Rolls looked unprofessional, unevenly sliced, and the ginger tasted very strange. Seems like everything is staying down, but we will never do that again. Tulalip and Snoqualmie casinos are FAR better at sushi. Service was meh, even though only two tables were occupied. Non-alcoholic beverage selection needs attention, as well. read more

Jade Fusion used to be my favorite go to restaurant at Angels. We came literally every week in July ! With their new menu, there are not much options to choose from anymore. Looked forward to this place opening. The food wasn't terrible but I wouldn't exactly call it good either. The Pad Thai was a huge let down it lacked almost any of the flavor I'm used to in the dish and the chicken texture was rubbery (slightly disgusting). The general tsaos could've been frozen dinner heat up meal and I wouldn't have known the difference. Had the food been good the price would have been worth it. Disappointing as I've had good meals within the casino. We went there when it first opened months ago. WOW! Were we pleasantly surprised when we dined at Jade Fusion! We stayed overnight at the Angel of the Winds for a little getaway and, since the steakhouse was closed the night we were there, we thought we'd try the Jade Fusion! My wife's father was a gourmet Chinese chef who made Duck and other delicious Chinese dishes so SHE is very particular about where we eat Chinese cuisine! I have to say, the half portion of the BBQ Duck was the MOST delicious and succulent duck we've ever had with the skin crispy and the meat, tender and juicy! We also shared a delectable Honey Walnut Prawn dish that was amazing. We met the impressive Chef, Truong Young, who was lured away from the Tulalip casino to work his magic at Jade Fusion and WORK his magic, he has!! If my wife was impressed, I'm pretty sure You will be also! Our waitress, Jaimie, was SO attentive and a pure delight! We've been eating at Jade Fusion for years since we discovered they had really good Pho broth, Salt n Pepper Pork Chops, fresh sushi assortments and authentic tasting Chinese Chow Fun and Chow Mein Noodle dishes. That all disappeared when the menu was slashed, the sushi chef was no longer visible in the restaurant and the overall quality went away two months ago. The Pho is all about the broth and sadly it was thin and flavorless when my wife ordered it. The Chow Fun and crispy Chow Mein noodles dishes are no longer on the menu. The pork chops, honey walnut prawns and chicken entrees are half the size of what they have been for years. The sushi rolls are similar to what you'd find at the takeout counter of a supermarket with no sushi chef in sight. The "chicken wings appetizer" was a really bad experience, chicken blood red raw, over battered coating raw and unedible, should had known when the plate showed up with 5 baseball sized pieces of weirdness. The "new" chow mein noodles taste like it's made with canned spaghetti noodles with soy sauce on it. To be fair, the fried rice dishes and a few of the apps like the potstickers and lumpia are tasty but come on management, get a clue and bring back a real sushi chef, the dishes that were slashed off the menu and eventually the regulars will return. The wait staff have ALWAYS been 5 star rockstars but even they must feel bad serving such subpar offerings after hearing all the complaints from their regulars. Comparing Angels Asian Fusion Restaurant to Tulalip Casinos Journeys East wouldn't even be in the same ballpark....you can clearly experience the authenticity of dishes cooked right in front of you at Journeys and the food is fine restaurant quality. Bring back the old cooks and menu Angels, we prefer playing and staying at the hotel but we're not really disappointed by how badly Jade Fusion has gone downhill the past couple of months. read more

Where do I begin? We put our name in the queue and were told there would be a 45 minute wait. So we went over to Katie's Kitchen and got wine and a small batch of fries (we were very hungry). Immediately got a text saying our table was ready. Had to box up the fries. At the restaurant, the staff seemed like they needed a lot more training. The décor was nice, but the wood bench seats were painful. The chopsticks had slivers. The wasabi wasn't real. There were no dipping bowls for soy sauce. There was no Junmai Sake', except the kind that comes in a box and they put through a heating element. We ordered 5 Nigiri sushi. If that was sushi rice, I'm Mickey Mouse! There was no flavor of vinegar or sugar! Not sure how fresh the fish was, and it was cut too thick and incorrectly so that there were tough parts. The rice rolls under the fish were WAY to big especially under the fish roe nigiri. We also had the caterpillar sushi roll. It is advertised as having masago (fish roe) but had sesame seeds instead. Maybe they do okay with the Americanized Asian dishes, such as chow mein or pad thai, but I'll never know, since I can't have anything cooked with regular soy sauce (I rarely even ask for the gluten-free kind for dipping; I just do without.) I don't know if it's coincidence, but I spent half the next day (Christmas) in the bathroom. :( read more

Just trying to get a table was one of the worst experiences. The manager (Jessie) was trying her hardest to not accommodate us. Yes we had a big party of 14. But she worked hard on making sure we couldn't sit together. She removed two tables up front, where there was a big party before us, to seat 4 at two different tables and 6 at the table in front. Where if she would of left 2 tables up front, we could of all sat together. But no, she went out her way to make sure our experience was undesirable. She was condescending, and argumentative and worked at giving us the worst customer service possible. The waitresses were great, and food was good. But the experience with her, left all 14 of us with a bad taste in our mouth. We won't be back. We bowled first, and had great experiences with all employees. But probably won't even consider going back. One of us spilled water and manager and 2 other employees laughed, we had to go to the restroom to get paper towels to clean it up ourselves. Should of left it there and let someone slip and fall. But no we're better than that. Wish I could say the same about manager and her hostesses. Angel of the winds used to be known as the friendliest casino. Sad to say that is not true anymore. Put customer service back. And end power struggle with manager.
