The prices of the entrees is very reasonable, with most under 10 EUR. I had the Tiroler Pfandl, which was pork with a creamy sauce over some sort of fried cheese noodles, which was quite tasty, hearty, and of course heavy. also serves Alzenauer Steinbräu, or the local Alzenau beer. overall, great place, would love to come again.

Even the side salad was wonderful: all vegetables in the salad were fresh and the dressing was very good. Everyone else was happy with their dinners, also. The portions were very satisfying. We were too full to have desert. Hochmühle is a favorite of our friends who live nearby. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, though when full of people can be very loud.
