Let me just start off by saying James is fantastic! I was running late for my appointment and began to feel nervous since the sun was almost setting. By the time I got there James let me know we had about 20 minutes before sunset and a little bit of time afterwards for good lighting as well. Not going to lie, my anxiety levels went up because I was running late but James was very reassuring and made sure we had plenty of time for all my outfit changes. We did a photo shoot in about 30-40 minutes and there were over 100 photos for me to look through!! I'm also not a model and need someone to guide me in what poses to make and what to do; and James did just that (while also complimenting me the whole time). She said she had a fun time and talked about him all morning after our family portrait session. James was fantastic! He drove to LA during traffic to take my USC grad photos on campus at dusk. He was more than accommodating to any of my ideas for photos and had great ideas of his own. I was in a hunt for a photographer for our wedding and met James at work out of the blue. I shamelessly asked if he does weddings and said yes. (As if it was meant to be!) He was very accommodating and was very excited to meet us to discussed our wedding. Since we told him, we it's our first time to get married and we honestly didn't know what to do. Kidding aside. He intentefully listened, gave us suggestions and advices. We instantly clicked and became friends. I mean, who wouldn't? James is probably the coolest, most energetic and easiest person to get along with! And yes, of course, photographer! Of course, we said YES to him! We did our engagement shoot with him at the Treasure Island Park. We told him we want it to be fun nothing serious and he listened. James came on time and was very prepared. Not only with all his gear strapped on him but with all fun ideas for the shoot. He was so prepared he even knows exactly where to take the pictures, what poses to do ---even to the exact minute of the sunset. (Amazing, right?) He made us feel comfortable in the shoot. And in the end he told us we'll get the copy asap; he kept his promise and he did! After that, we knew he was the one! The engagement pictures were perfect. It was candid, he showed our happiness. It told our story. Before our wedding, we met several times to discuss and finalize everything. He was very patient with us. He gave us a questionaire that asked us about specifics of the wedding. He let us take control of everything because he said it was our day. He want it to be the way we want things to go. He made sure that we were in good hands. He was even telling us not to worry about anything and he made us feel secured. Planning everything isnt the easiest but James was with us from day 1 and never heard a complaint from him, not even once. Wedding day came, he came early. He went back and forth, from different rooms just to meet with the bridesmaids and i as well as the groomsmen and the groom, my now husband. He was always there. Though the heat, sweat from the summer sun and all the running, he was always composed and had everything under control. He knew what he was doing. Each time we saw him he had his signature grin on his face which was a sign of relief for us. He always cheering us on, assuring that everything is going smoothly. Two weeks, we already received our pictures. I was indeed impresssed. We were WOW'd by the pictures. It was magical, unreal! He made sure each person was there. That each person was special and had a special part in our day. To be honest, EVERYONE loved the pictures! (I cried watching the video, too) We told ourselves, we wanted it to be the most memorable part of the wedding because we knew these pictures would last forever. James exceeded our expectations. He went over and beyond. He is very professional and puts his heart to his work. He captured memories not just pictures. You can see his passion through his lenses. You can see how much he loved what he's doing though the emotions in the pictures. The colors were vibrant. He even took special details. The pictures were a hit!
