Indian food differs across the world and that is expected as they aim to please the locals and what…read morethey are accustomed to. This little restaurant is no exception, they have clearly fine tuned each meal to the taste buds of the local French inhabitants and that makes sense, however i found that the food was slightly more creamy and mild than i would normally expect or enjoy from a Indian restaurant. Despite the dishes not tasting anything like what I am used to it did taste good and that is what is important. The food was nice and the service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was lovely, it was a warm cozy joint with some nice decor, and the toilet had to be the 'Pièce de résistance'. It was a very ornate throne which when flushed had a bell ring, very charming. Overall the restaurant was nice, but nothing like the Indian food I have tasted over the years across Europe,America and the Middle East but still a nice version. My only real complaint would be it was slightly over priced for what was very small portions, the main courses also do not come with rice or bread so to pay 13 Euros for a small chicken tikka masala which was literally no more than 5 tablespoons it is a little disappointing and overpriced. Other than that if you fancy a curry and there isn't anywhere else why not pop in here it may tickle your taste buds more than it did mine!

The Aloo Gobi was layered in flavor with a hint of char which elevated the taste. I wish I could stay in Brugge longer because I'd be there every night to experience a new dish! We ordered hot chai to stay warm yet the cup was so small we finished it in minutes with no refills available. We chose this restaurant as the sign on the window stayed there was live jazz tonight but learned later it's only every other Friday. I had the veggie korma which I typically love but it was so sweet and mild. I was not offered a heat level and if had been would have requested medium heat. I liked the rice which came with the korma as well as appreciated there were plenty of vegetables in it. Not sure I'd make a return visit here.
