We just picked up a to-go order and we are incredibly disappointed. First of all, the price for 2 basic meals that include no extras (chips & salsa or drinks) was $32. That's insane, especially when the quantity and quality of one of the plates and the quality of the other is taken into account. Taco shells were soggy and there were only 2, as well as a teeny tiny portion of rice & beans, for what I can only assume was somewhere around $15. The quesadilla was completely soggy, especially then bottom layer, when they should be crispy. Again, the cost of this meal was around $15 and it contained NO MEAT. Service is great and we usually pick up tacos in the morning which have been good but today we decided to eat inside since we had time. Our waitress was very nice. My breakfast was not good today. The bacon tasted like it was sitting out for a while or on its last leg. The biggest dissapointed was the migas! The tortillas in the migas should still be pretty crispy, instead they were a blob of sogginess! I couldn't even eat my plate. Will never order migas again! At the time ask the manager was there an expiration on this credit? She said no(otherwise i would have asked for my money back) ok until I tried to use the credit well low and behold they have no record, How convenient! Then the manager asked me where do you live sweetie, first of all I'm a grown woman And don't need to be referred to as sweetie. When I told her she Says oh there was another refund written down for the same thing but she was from Smithville. Really?? There's a Jaliscos in Bastrop. Okkkkkk . There are several great Mexican restaurants in Bastrop. Jalisco's is a daily run business.
