This place is popular! Not sure if it's all locals or tourists or both, but they have a waitlist you can get on virtually, so that's what we did. That said the wait was 7-9 minutes, which was our estimated drive time. However, when we arrived there was a line out the door and a gentleman taking names. I told him we were on the waitlist, which he verified, then he bumped us up in the queue. We probably ended up waiting another 10 minutes before being seated. We weren't super hungry, but we wanted to have something prior to our travels. I went with the crab cake Benedict, half order, with hash browns. My oldest got regular pancakes with hash browns. My youngest got the cinnamon roll pancakes. The pancakes are really good size. Both my girls enjoyed them very much. My youngest devoured the cinnamon roll pancakes before I could get a photo. She let me try them and they were really good. The hash browns were excellent! Love it when a place cooks them perfectly--when they are nice and crispy! They serve them with ketchup upon request too. The crab cake Benedict was very decadent and delicious! Loved that it was also served with some arugula--love arugula! The place is quite large and they have some really cool seating options. The restrooms are located very close to the kitchen. It almost looks like you're going down a hallway you aren't supposed to. This was good but trying to eat it was a challenge due to size and ingredients. There was a small side green salad. The biscuit and sausage gravy was also stacked. You definitely get good value here as is evident with the families surrounding us. The gravy was almost overflowing the plate with a good uncious taste. The biscuit was dense, a bit dry and was just ok. The gravy was a home run. Jam is a great family breakfast option with the food almost over-flowing the plates. We ordered basic dishes from the appetizer menu and enjoyed them but not overwhelmed with taste. Even though I found it good, not great, I would encourage you to come here with a hearty appetite, and give them a try. NO ONE here is eating with a frown on their face and joint is jumping. We couldn't decide where to have breakfast and our hotel concierge recommended we visit Jam! What a great suggestion, as it was exactly what we were looking for. Visited Bozeman MT for leisure and Jam! came as a recommendation. Jam! did not disappoint. The atmosphere of Jam! is clean, cozy but did not feel too cluttered. There's plenty of seating for 2-4 people and some for larger groups as well. Also there are seats at the multiple bars. Jam!'s service staff was attentive and accurate from the hostess's greeting to farewells upon our exit. Our waitress offered recommendations and explained the menu well. The experience felt warm and accommodating. The star of the show at Jam! is of course the food and drink. Lots of selections for the coffee bar or morning alcoholic beverages. I was there for the caffeine. The Dirty Chai was well seasoned and earthy with the right amount of sweetness to balance. It was served at a perfect temperature and had a cute design etched into the frothy foam on top. The freshly made cinnamon buns were flaky, sweet, and satisfying. I'm a nut for pecans and the garnish was plentiful and complimentary of the bun without taking away or lacking. The Breakfast Burrito was a boulder of a proportion. Succulent smoke pork shoulder and fluffy eggs were paired well with spices, the refried black beans, and cheese offering a smoky blend of flavors and textures which felt wholesome and complete. I'm a fanatic for spice but this was the right amount, though I did add some hot sauce to hit my ideal scoville range. But flavor wise the burrito was on point. This is one of those places I leave with a little heartbreak I didn't get to try at least half the menu. There was a wait after us so I felt really lucky. This place is nice and bright and fun. It has a great breakfast vibe with it's bright colors and comfy seating. The menu is fun and has a wide variety of options for everyone. They have a house made ketchup that was super good (we had some terrible house made ketchup the night before) and went really well with the crispy hashbrowns. My classic benedict was so good, especially on the house made English muffin. There was something a bit sweet on the muffin. It was excellent. My husband had a sandwich with the same muffin. He loved it. The drinks were also really good. Service was also excellent here. Probably the best service we had our entire trip to Bozeman. Jam! was fantastic again (third time here since son started school at MSU). Eli provided friendly service and, more significantly, excellently handled our son's food allergies (egg, peanut, milk and sesame). He checked with the kitchen to ensure the avocado toast could be safely prepared. We assured him we understood if it wasn't possible, and that fruit and bacon would also be fine, but he went the extra mile and the joy on my son's face when he devoured his breakfast made us all very happy.
