Service was extremely poor. Employees are rude and disrespectful teenagers that clearly do not care about their job. Smoothies were super watery and no one speaks to you at all. So I have been at this location a few times. But just this past Monday on 7/31. I went in the evening and picked up to greens and apple and orange dream machine. All I can say is that me and my wife have been sick to our stomach since that day. We are have had upset stomachs since Monday evening, we are very aware about our bodies, with water intake and electrolytes, the heat. I will say we usually eat at home. 3/5/23 we went to grab some smoothies and the service was on point! Maria (per the receipt) was fabulous as were the others. They ALL greeted us even the girls making smoothies and they proceeded to be super friendly with everyone who came after us as we observed. We got our smoothies quickly . I've been going to Jamba Juice since I was a little kid, but every time I walk into the Jamba at the Empire Center, it's my favorite one. There's this particularly nice cashier named Flynn, he's British, and he's super sweet. He always gives a polite conversation whenever I come in, and he pretty much knows my order like the back of his hand. Our liquid goodness was ready within minutes, perfect texture, not too thin, flavor carnival and icy cold. The staff was very friendly, asked if we wanted any boosts or other items. This a small location but clearly popular as customers were whizzing in and out. Perfect way to wrap up a Friday. I savored the mega mango yumminess until I got home. "BEWARE OF THE SMOOTHIE SNIFFER WITH THE NOSE RING." My son and I ordered two smoothies yesterday on a beautiful Sunday after getting gardening tools and flowers at Lowes. Everything was going pleasantly--the manager on staff was very helpful and friendly--then our wonderful experience was ruined when I watched one of the workers make our smoothie. After she was done, she raised our smoothies, one by one, to her nose and sniffed them! All I saw was that ugly nose-ring in her nose as she gave our smoothies a good whiff. I was stunned! She did it so casually like it was part of her routine. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I didn't say anything because the manager and the cashier had been very nice to us when we ordered our non-diary strawberry smoothies without Greek yogurt. I took the smoothies and left. (My son had left earlier to go check on his order from Sharkys) I felt uneasy. I knew what she did was not right. One) She SNIFFED our smoothies wearing a nasty NOSE RING, like the drinks were hers and not the customers. Two) She wasn't wearing a mask--COVID-19 is still lurking around. Her "Sniffing" behavior was UNSANITARY. More Likely, a Health Code Violation. The next day I called the store and reported it to a manager. I go to Jamba all the time, I go to different locations as well. On top of that I use to work at a Jamba, but the smoothies at this location are a bit off of the original recipe. I got 4 smoothies 2 of them were perfect which were the Razzmatazz and the Caribbean passion, the other two tasted so off to what I usually get which were the pomegranate paradise and the gingers and greens. I personally get the gingers and greens all the time it is my favorite drink but the one I got at this location didn't have enough fruit and had way too much lemonade so it just tasted like kale, ginger, and lemonade. This spot is the newest addition to the plaza off Glendale Ave. I usually come here to eat at The Habit and of course Panda Express! During my lunch break, I decided to check this place out since I saw that it was finally open! I love Jamba Juice and I always order the white gummy bear without a doubt. Of course the place cleared any seating and I appreciated that they are also making sure that social distancing is a priority to protect their customers. The place is clean and the staff (1 person) was friendly! I ordered my usual white gummy and they also threw in a free boost, which they usually charge. If you're in the mood for some Jamba, this is a much more convenient spot with a ton of parking. Plus, afterwards you visit Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx or Ross and other store! read more

Went out of my way to go to Jamba Juice because I remembered having a BOGO card I got from a fundraiser. I went ahead and ordered two drinks, only to be told that their system has been down since yesterday. I offered to leave my BOGO card so they can use it for when their system's fixed, but to my dismay, they just kept repeating that there was nothing they can do about it. I think it's unfair and misleading to have the customer think they can use these cards when branches can't even process these cards. I might as well have gone to another business to get better drinks. As for the actual drinks, I got Mega Mango and I don't recommend it. It's supposed to have mango, pineapple, and strawberries, but it's either it doesn't work well together or it's just quite watery. On the other hand, their Chocolate and Peanut Drink smoothie tastes better. You can actually taste both ingredients, but has a balanced flavor. This branch is in the Burbank Empire Center so there's plenty of spaces even if you have to wait a little longer for when it gets busy. If there's really nothing then there will definitely be spaces across the street which is really only a 2 minute walk. Overall, I think if you can go to another business, it might be more worth your time and money. If you want mediocre smoothies and service or don't have any other choice, then I hope you have better luck than I did. read more

I've been coming to this Jamba Juice for a couple months now since I'm around the Empire Center so often & I've never had a bad experience here. As soon as you walk in, you get a warm welcome from the workers. Jonah, in particular, has been especially helpful. At this point she already knows my order when I come in. Great customer service. I was just here during my mini break frm work. I've been here a few times and so far, everything has been great. I was a bit confused since they changed up the format of the inside. I think there's more seating & tables as well. The staff was welcoming and cheery. My order was made quickly. I was standing next to a table, juggling with my stuff and they even walked up my drink & oatmeal ($2 on Wed.) I enjoyed my banana oatmeal and also my 16oz Jamba light smoothie strawberry nirvana. came here with my boyfriend since we were craving something sweet, we ended up going with the chunky strawberry. so we asked the cashier if we can get two strawberry chunky bowls one with a belgian waffle, she proceeded and added three bowls. i then let her know that it was only two bowls that we wanted and then after removing the second bowl she asked "and for the third", i said again that it was only two bowls. her energy seemed so off idk if she was faded or sleepy but she had no energy and responded to me as if she were a zombie. another thing to mention is that since the strawberry chunky bowl comes with banana she then tells me that they have no bananas which makes no sense in a smoothy based store. one last thing to add is, the girl had let the guy know that i wanted a waffle and failed to add that so i had to remind him that i got a waffle. thanks for reading! read more

I've gone in a few times during COVID, ordered way ahead online and still had to wait for my order. That's not even the main issue - my 2 year old pulled off his mask when we got our smoothies out of excitement (he's 2!) and the employee made a rude comment about making sure he has a mask on. He's not even required to wear a mask under public health guidelines because he's under 3, but I still put one on him out of common courtesy. Just rude all around. This is your standard Jamba Juice. You know what to expect. My go-to is usually a large Amazing Greens Smoothie. When i visited, I was literally the only person in the restaurant, and service was pretty slow, but I wasn't in any rush, so that wasn't a big deal. Most Jambas that make my smoothie don't blend the fruit enough, so it doesn't fit through my straw. At this spot, they blended it pretty well, so that wasn't a problem. What I like about this spot are the location and the size of the restaurant. This shopping center in Burbank is popping with great spots, so I can't wait to visit more often. And this Jamba is huge. There's so much space. They even have a large round table where you can get work done. I just wish they had more seating available with all the space they have. It's mostly a grab and go spot, however, so I guess it's not a big concern for them. read more

I've been to this Jamba Juice a lot. I always customize my drink order because I'm allergic to dairy, and I'd rather not spend the rest of the day on the toilet. The last time I was here, they messed up my order and it was not made dairy free. I was sick within minutes. I called to complain and they told me that the next time I came in they could offer me a free drink. The problem with that is that I didn't want a free drink. I only called to tell them that I had an issue and to help them be better for their next customers...because I won't be coming back. They regularly underfill cups too. It's ridiculous how much they throw in the trash. They'll give you your cup and it's like an inch empty...but the blender that they just dumped it from still has a ton of smoothie left in it. I'm just baffled by the amount of waste. They just throw it away! read more
