This jamba location is super convenient because it is located near the nex. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. I've came here a couple times here and there. However, this location is mediocre at best. Today, it was so packed and yet they had one cashier and one person making smoothies. Then, not to mention they didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. I had to stop to tell the guy making the smoothies that since the smoothie had protein it had to be put in a larger cup. Then, when we finally had the opportunity to drink our smoothie it tasted awful. I'm not sure what they did wrong, but when you get the same thing every single time you can tell when it is not right. It was definitely not right. Maybe this is due to the lack of training or the staff being under pressure because they were so packed? I'm not sure! However, this is not my go to location for my jamba smoothie. I hope that they make the necessary changes to bring their ratings up. Btw jamba locations are now offering a smoothie box for $75! Living in Salt Lake has its cons. One of them is not having a decent place to get smoothies or açaí bowls from. Jamba Juice is the closest thing, unfortunately. I understand Starbucks and Jamba Juice have to be together almost times but I really would rather replace it with a Lanikai Juice or something. I came in and there were no lines but as I waited for my two energy bowls, the people piled up and the staff could not handle it. There weren't a lot of people waiting when I came in and I had to wait an awful long time for my order. You'd think that I'd be rewarded for waiting but I don't expect Jamba Juice to serve good quality bowls. Mine looked disgusting and had pretty bad fruits on top. Not everyone carries cash and there isn't an option to tip on the receipt. However, if the service was good, I would have run out to my car and grabbed cash to load your tip jar. 12/15/2019 @11:17am there is a girl working right now that has stuck ass attitude and is taking short cuts to make the orders. I ordered a cacao bowl and she decided to make 3 at the same time. It comes out, I ask for a bag, and rush back to my car to suffer through traffic so i can at least try to get home before it melts. I get home. This Jamba Juice is the pinnacle of customer service, which is generally what will get a five star review from me, especially when it comes to a chain location. Numerous employees here have made my experience memorable and kept me coming back for future visits. Brittany was the first to make an impression - she was really sweet, funny, and personable, and even delivered our drinks outside when she noticed we weren't waiting in the shop. Other fantastic experiences include the time my friend brought a can of green chilies in and asked for them to be put in his smoothie. Even though the location doesn't have a can opener, they made due and met his request (and waited in anticipation to see if he actually liked it, which he did). Beyond the delicious drinks, Jamba Juice also has some assorted local goodies. Amongst these is the Low-Fat Oaties, a delicious bite of various healthy things all packed into one place that is significantly more delicious than it should be. They make a great companion to any drink. What makes this location particularly interesting is that there are a lot of island-exclusive items (and some items you can't get here - only on the mainland), so if you're coming from the mainland, be prepared for that. This could be a potential downside, but the variety makes things interesting. Jamba Juice is also a fairly expensive location normally, so in Hawaii, that's only amplified. read more

Today I went to the Jamba Juice at the Moanalua shopping center. I really don't care to come to this one to often, simply because of the parking situation and the crowds that tend to congregate there, especially on the weekdays during lunch time because of its close proximity to the it force and navy base. Today the workers seem to be a little bit understaffed, as it took a little bit longer than normal to get the order, however I do understand that it can be frustrating for them since as well since they had two people to take care of a lunch rush. But they did the best they could and for what it was worth, my drink came out as it usually does which is good. There were a lot of other people that were ordering different kinds of bowls and other menu items and it was pretty interesting to see what other people buy and eat over there. But for me, I'm a very simple person, as I may eat a pretzel or some kind of a pastry with my drink. Easy to please and good to go, as long as it get what I ordered. The menu changed a little, as they used to have pretty good sandwiches here as well, but I don't see on the menu board anymore.... But in a nutshell, Jamba Juice is Jamba Juice! read more

Back around January 2020, prior to going in, we looked at the menu online, and decided on one chocolate for my daughter and one chocolate banana for me. However, there was no chocolate banana, only chocolate, banana, peanut butter. We arrived, and I ordered one chocolate, and one chocolate, banana, peanut butter, and MADE VERY CLEAR I didnt want the peanut butter, and was only ordering since I wanted chocolate banana and this was the option. I was informed by the young lady (who was barely paying attention) that this would not be a problem. Get our order and drive back home for a round trip of roughly 5 miles. Get home and drink, and instead of one chocolate and one chocolate banana, we got two chocolate banana peanut butter. Drive back, and explain to the lady in charge what happened, what the correct order is, and HOW DANGEROUS it is to give someone peanut without wanting it, but also how liable it is to give someone peanut that SPECIFICALLY requests NO peanut. Lady in charge apologizes and begins to make the order again herself. While she is making the order, something tells me to confirm she has it correct. I ask, now just to make sure, what are you making? Chocolate banana PEANUT BUTTER. In complete disbelief, and tell her she is about to give me back exactly what I just returned to her, and i place our order for the 3rd time. One chocolate and one chocolate banana with NO *@#%+! Horrible customer service! I was in a line of six people. They ignored everybody for about five minutes while they are working on two other orders. Finally, they took our order. And I had waited for about 5 minutes. I had ordered something from Starbucks next-door since they were taking so long I decided to go over to Starbucks to pick up my order and when I came back to get my order, it looked like it was still not done, so when I asked about it, they said oh we had put your drink in the cooler??? when they pulled out my drink is already been separating was gross (in a matter of minute?) I just asked for a refund. Later on I was checking my bank statement later I realize they double charged me and when I called the store to talk to them about it they never picked up the phone. not the usual go to location but my friends and i decided to swing by on christmas day because it was one of the few places open and, as a bunch of struggling college students with no food in the fridge, we were desperate. we pulled up right in front of the store a peeked in to find people eating inside eyeing us out. at first we thought they were all the employees eating after the store closed (later we found out that it was one employee, not on her break, eating with her two friends) and seeing this we continued to walk past to maybe find another spot open. as we made our way past though, i saw the holiday hours sign posted outside of the window and read that they wouldnt even be closed until 6pm that day. i motioned to the sign and told my friends that they were still open and that we thankfully wouldnt have to go anywhere else. so we make our way inside, the employee gets up from eating with her friends and goes behind the register to take our order, complete with exaggerated sign and eye roll. (of course) the cashier proceeded to tell my friends and i that they saw us trying to see if the store was open and they really were hoping that we wouldn't have come in. she literally told us that. "i really hoped you guys wouldnt have come in" WHAT???!??? WHO SAYS THAT TO A CUSTOMER???? my friends and i profusely apologized and thanked them for being open on christmas. as a bunch of retail workers, we know it sucked. but she didnt care how apologetic we were, she was not happy that we showed up and she made us know both vocally and through her actions. she then went to go and talk to the other girl who worked there and was giggling and snickering about something. when they called out our drinks the other girl who wasnt the cashier slammed my drinks onto the counter and pushed them towards me and said "heres your drinks." she didnt smile, she didnt look at me, she almost spilled my drinks, and i was kind of pissed at this point, to be honest. the drinks werent even good and i had these huge chunks of fruit that you could see scattered throughout the cup. i have never felt so bad about coming and getting something i was really excited about. because of this, i will never go to this location again and im super disappointed in the staff that work here. read more

I've never been a Jamba Juice fan but I find that when I want something quick and healthy this place is it...I haven't had a bad experience with an employee yet and being allergic to Mangos which I am sooo sadden by I was VERY scared to get anything that had mangos in it...but you tell them that you have an allergy and they type it into your order and let you choose an alternative which is great. Again...never crowded when I want to get something fast and quick...or if Starbucks next door is ridiculously crowded! Oh I mostly get the drinks versus the foods...but if I do I stick to the zucchini bread...it is delish! And the steel cut oats --- always hot and fresh and you can get it WITHOUT the toppings which saves in sugar and calories :) I hesitate to get the other items...don't know why but I'll eventually try something other than. read more

Really upset with my service this evening. There were two workers, only one customer ahead of me already just waiting for their two drinks to be made. By the time I had ordered at 8:10pm there were three more customers who ordered after me. We didn't get our drinks till 8:36pm AFTER the three who ordered after me was Already served and had left. No stars! Ordered an acai bowl here for the third time and it's confirmed. They don't serve it in the bowl featured in photos on their windows, which raises questions if you're being cheated out of product you're paying full price for and worse getting more granola instead. But! But! It's not uncommon to see employees enjoying their large acai bowls full of acai at least 2 inches deep filled with acai from the bottom of their clear round bowls like the type used in the promotion poster on their windows. Theft much? Idk... perhaps they are special and I'm just rude for not asking why the difference in bowls, serving it in an ugly bowl, with less acai and crap ton of granola. I have so much granola in mine I offered to my coworker who had none in their yogurt! For $7.99 plus extra for strawberries, it's not the upcharge that is bothersome, but the fact that I dug and dug and dug to discover my acai was pressed into the petals of the bowl to look full with a gaping hole filled with granola. From SNL: I like the juice. Well on a hot day why not stop at Jamba Juice? The place is located in the middle of the street mall convincingly right across a Starbucks. How often does that happen? Standard menu with of course the secret drinks you can find anywhere online. One day I just want to come up with some name and see if they will try to make it. The people at the counter are polite and orders are quickly made. Not really into their food. I'm not a big health nut and the prices seem a little high. Need like Amazon to buy this place so prices will go down like whole paycheck I mean Whole Foods. Anyway a few seats inside and outdoor seating for both JJ and Starbucks. Place is clean but pretty uninteresting since there is nothing to make them stand out from all the other Jamba Juices. There is parking right out front but it's only for 20 mins. After giving my husband an acai bowl with no acai in it, my husband was ignored for 10 minutes while he waited at the counter to ask someone to fix his order. The manager then tried to convince us acai bowls don't have acai in them at all, and even told him that any acai bowl he had in the past from this or any Jamba Juice with acai in it was made incorrectly. There are times when I hate to admit it, but I am a Soccer Mom. Yes, this one time party girl and self-proclaimed worldly woman has turned into a bonafide Soccer Mom. I'm the Team Mom for my son's soccer team and today because we won our game, I made a run to Jamba Juice so that the boys would have a special treat to celebrate. It started off as a really dismal season where we lost every game and all of a sudden it all turned around! You learn a lot from losing but gosh by golly does it feel completely fabulous to be a winner! We have our games in Salt Lake so this Jamba Juice is the closest. I called in to ask if they did curbside pick-up (every mother's best friend in the whole wide world) and of course they didn't. I pre-ordered my 10 Orange Dream Machine kid sized Jambas and a Strawberries Wild for the Coach. Yes, Coach loves his Strawberries Wild! The girl on the phone was very pleasant but at the end of our conversation didn't give me a total or ask for my name. Is it just me, or does that strike anyone else as odd? I actually think of it as common sense but customer service is dead these days and I will forever mourn its death. Walked in to Jamba and waited behind two women who were there with their two boys. I'm sorry, they weren't boys, they were more like little monsters who were dressed like children. They were grabbing chips and ripping open drinks and basically running wild with zero discipline. If those were my children we'd probably have to call Child Protective Services. Not sure why Jamba brings this out in me but CPS for some reason always arises. I remember hearing someone say "There are no bad children, just bad parents." Well these parents needed a spanking! Finally got to the counter after the Tasmanian Devil and paid for my Jamba. I almost got upset because I had thought that she hadn't made my order yet, but was happy and relieved when she came out of the back with everything loaded in a small box. Jamba Juice in Moanalua Shopping Center is by far the slowest Jamba Juice I have ever experienced. In malls, you usually find some very large juicing crowds. Some of the biggest crowds I have seen are in food courts, before a discover kaka'ako event, and in student union areas of universities. Usually with a crew of about 5, they churn out smoothies like ninjas with vitamixes! In small storefronts with maybe two seats at a window counter and a crew of 2, you expect to wait a little longer as one blends while the other rings, but the smoothies come out timely. This location had a crew of 3, one ringing, one blending, and one doing nothing measurable except running his mouth. The large area of window counters and tables was almost empty. Four groups were rung up before the ringing person began to juice. Twenty minutes! Twenty minutes for one kona berry bowl. (I also cannot recommend this "bowl." It's a smoothie with granola on top in a bowl with a spoon. Splurge on the extra 150 calories and buy acai.) Knowing that this is simply a smoothie with a fancy hat, there was not one good reason that it took twenty minutes to prepare. I'm sure the gossip between the employees is super juicy, but I'd love them to focus on the juice in front of them first. read more
